Where's Max?

We were at DHS today and went to the Animation building looking for Max Goof because I was pretty sure I had read here that he hung out there. He was not there and the CM I asked was really confused and said Max doesn't meet at that park. Did I "goof" up? Is he found at another park?
I'd appreciate any help. Max is a family favorite!

the only place I have ever seen him is at DHS. He was in front of the hat around3 when I saw him. He was with Goofy!

My kids "hung out" with Max earlier this month in Epcot ~ we walked out of one of the Innovention buildings and there he was!

We saw him there in August.

My parents literally ran into Max at EPCOT in late September. They were in the FW character greet and my mom turned around and bumped right into him!

Max often does appear at the animation building in DHS (with Goofy), but only when the bonus F! characters come out at 4:50p and 5:20p (and repeat sets at 5:50 and 6:20), but those are technically random and not guaranteed to happen at all too.

and I've seen him in Epcot too, behind the Fountain of Nations (on the World Showcase Plaza side)

We were there earlier this month and he was with Goofy in Epcot, in front of Club Cool...saw him on three different days

I have found him a few times in Toon Town, in the little area behind the Mickey's tent. Right next to the train.

This was in Toon Town back by the Train Station. We could see the characters from the play area. This was my son's first interaction with the characters. He loved them! He was 15 months old.

We saw him around 5 in the Animation Building at DHS on 9/27. I know you said you were in the animaiton building, but were you there between 5 and 6?

Those characters are not on any schedule. We were family of the day, and our rep from Guest Relations asked if she could do anything for us. I had been looking for the Mary Poppins penguin forever, and hoped he would be there. So I asked if she could find out. She went and made some calls and came back to say he would not be out that day. Well, we still went, and he was there.

Good luck and keep looking. Now that we found Mr. Penguin, I'm at a loss for who to stalk next!

I hope to meet him our next trip. We have been the last 2 March's and haven't seen him. My oldest DS really wants to meet him. And now we have our own "Max" that will be 6 mths when we are there.

We were there for the 5-6 meeting on 09.28 and saw Max/Goofy and Mary/Mr. Penguin. Such a fun time, and there were, maybe, ten other families milling about the room plus the occasional people who came in with a surprised look. So great!!
