I have booked a fastpass for us to watch Wishes one night on our holiday-we normally watch from the boardwalk at Frontierland as that is where DH proposed, but we decided for once to see it from in front of the castle as nature intended...:rotfl:
Whereabouts is the viewing spot and does it still get really crowded-I am only five foot one and always end up stood behind the Harlem Globetrotters watching Wishes...:rotfl2:

1. The FP reserved area is not exactly "in front of the castle" either,
but certainly far moreso than the boardwalk at Frontierland.

2. See map below.

3. The area is not crowded.

We did this 2 weeks ago and it was so enjoyable. No need to line up early to get in. Everybody sat on the grass and Tink flew right above us. You don't get a centered view of the fireworks but you are used to that. It was great.

Thanks to you both-Robo I should have known you would have a map! :hug:Where do you access the area? Is it from the Tomorrowland bridge? And how do they police it?

Had the FP for it last year and the CM tried to tell us where to sit...wasn't going to happen! We were 1st in line and in, and they wanted to make us go in and all the way to the right and have a totally obstructed view. We went to the front left and had a great view. Actually the best strategy is to have the FP for the parade right before Wishes and then remain in your spot.

I highly recommend getting the FP+ for Wishes! We did back in June and actually laid down on the grass to watch Wishes! So magical! I don't know if I ever want to not watch from this area again! The entrance is from the Tomorrowland bridge and CM's are manning the "gate" to make sure only those with FP's can enter.
