Hi all,

I am doing some way far out planning. Planning is so much fun. We are planning on driving to Disney July 2012. It will be me (DW), DH, DS (will be 4), we have a baby on the way who will be 11 months and then there will be our 15 year old niece. We have only had studio stays and I would like to stay that way if possible becuase based on prior experience once we move up we don't want to go back down.

We have stayed at SSR and Kidani. We much preferred SSR. We just didn't like all the hall ways at Kidani. Which resort studio has great kitchen room? BLT looks good from the pictures I have seen. We want to try to do simple, easy meals in room. What resort has great easy to get to laundry? We will have our vehicle so we are not concerned about locale.

Thanks for any advice you have.

With five, I'd suggest a one bedroom villa at a minimum. While legal (your infant won't count until he/she turns 3 yrs old), you'll basically have three adults and two small ones. That's pretty crowded in anything but an OKW studio and even that may feel crowded.

I have stayed in the BLT studio and I would say that woudl be too small for your party size.

As PP suggested, I might go with OKW as their rooms are the largest.

My #1 choice would be a one bedroom at OKW #2 a studio there.....the BLT studios were way too small for the three of us. Just my two cents.

The very smallest unit I would stay in for that group would be an OKW 1 bedroom. Next would be a 1 bedroom at AKV or BLT for the extra bathroom. I wouldn't stay in ANY studio with that size group. It would NOT be a vacation for anyone doing that. In a studio, your 4 year old would have to sleep with either you or your niece. Neither of those options would be terribly appealing.

While the smallest unit I would stay in would be a 1 bedroom at OKW, I must say, my preference would be a 2 bedroom. That way everyone gets their own bed.

I wouldn't stay in anything but a one bedroom with your crew. Personally with a 15 yo in tow I'd stay at either BLT or AKV in a one bedroom which will provide you with two bathrooms plus a sleeper sofa and chair.

We just came back from our first visit at BLT and even with just two children the extra bathroom and two options for sleeping were wonderful!! My 10yo DD is of the age she no longer wishes to sleep with her brother on vacation so it was a nice option with both a sleeper sofa and chair.
