PO-FQ is my favorite moderate (and even beats out a few of the deluxes in my eyes). It is quaint and charming. And the CMs have always been kind to my family there. As a matter of fact, I stayed there just last month with a couple of my Dis girlfriends. We had a lovely stay.

POFQ because we will not go back to CBR.

Plus it has just been refurbished and shares amenities with POR.

I chose POFQ. I've never stayed there, but I've heard better things about it than CBR.

I've stayed at both and lOVED CBR! POFQ did'nt do it for me. I guess if you like the Mardi Gras theme then you'd like it but I prefer the beachy theme with the white sandy beaches, hammocks, lots of pools, and the rooms are bigger and brighter. To each his own!

I haven't stayed at any moderates, but if I had to choose it would be CB.......... I live 20 minutes away from The French Quarter so I would prefer the beach theme!

I liked FQ better. Easier resort to navigate. Loved boat transportation to DTD. It's nice being able to share amenities with their sister resort POR. The lamposts and cobblestone walkways were very charming and romantic in the evening.

No specific reaason why but I will not return to CBR. I guess the theme just didn't thrill me. If you like tropical themes - you may prefer CBR though.

I have stayed at both and CBR is our favorite. We liked the atmosphere and the rooms were good size. We have our own rental car so the layout didnt matter to us. We didnt use the pools either but I do know the pool at POFQ is better. Still, we liked the quiet and isolation of CBR and would stay there again over POFQ.

I love the tropical atmosphere at CBR...the music, beaches, the landscape. For me CBR has that laid back island feel when I come back from the parks I just love walking around especially at night...I enjoy swinging on the hammocks and feeding the ducks. It is wonderful and for me it has the Floridian feel that I love.

I voted POFQ. Although I have not stayed there, we have stayed at POR and loved it!!

I said POFQ because of the boat to DTD and the convenience of the smaller resort. Also, DS is the original beignet fiend.
