(in which part of the state)...California, Florida, Texas or (Vegas) Nevada or somewhere else in south state.

I've lived in Michigan, California and Las Vegas. I would move back to California in a heartbeat!

I voted Florida. DH and I hope to retire there one day.

I would live in Florida---the priest (well--the main one out of 5 celebrants) that married my hubby and me is the bishop of St. Augustine. I would live between Orlando and Tampa (hubby has relatives in Tampa somewhere). I would also consider Texas---I have family there and job potential for hubby and me.

I voted for Vegas. First off I HATE humidity and there is no humidity in Vegas, since it's the desert. You can make a VERY good living in Vegas, with all the casinos. We just were there and got to talking to one of the dealers. She said that the cocktail waitress in the casinos make up to $500 a day in tips!!!! She said that the dealers do pretty good, but not that good!!! The cost of living out there is pretty low, and the valley Vegas is in is beautiful. DH and I think that's where we'll retire!

I'd choose Florida. Don't know how I would like the heat of summer but of all the ones in the poll that is what looks best to me.

Other - I need changing seasons. Christmas wouldn't feel right without the snow.

Well since I am already in California I would choose ::MickeyMo Florida::MickeyMo .

I voted for Nevada, because I'd really like to live there or Arizona. However, someday I'll probably move to Florida, the Fort Myers/Naples area. ;)

I voted Florida. I would like to live on the coast, doesn't matter which side, I just can't be far from the beach. Living so close to the beach my whole life has spoiled me.

I really love it where I am, but I'm going on the assumption that we have to pick a state we don't live in so I picked California. Florida would be a close second.

If we could have the same house in CA that we have here in MI, I'd move there tomorrow! I lived in So. Calif for 10 years & they were probably the best 10 years of my life. I felt like I lived in Paradise (well, except for the traffic!) The mountains, the ocean, the rolling hills, the excitement...always something to do....Boy do I ever miss living there!

Vegas is just too brown & too hot for me. I'd die there. Florida has too many bugs & is too humid. Never been to Texas.

I have always wanted to live in Colorado... but I'd like a second home in Florida of course! ;)

I voted for other. We recently sold our second home in Florida after dealing with the aftermath of a hurricane. I'm tired of the cold and snow where we live. We have another home in New Mexico now, so that would be my first choice (winter seems very short there), southern Arizona my second.

:D

I chose Florida. It's warm all year round and it doesn't snow there. And of course, it has WDW. 3 days from Spring and it's freaking snowing here in NY...bummer.

Oh yes, everyone hurry and move on down here to Florida! There's nothing finer than spending Christmas day with air conditioning running full blast, snakes sunning on your deck, humidity so high that sweat runs down the small of your back soon as you walk outside and mosquitoes swarming at sundown. Really puts one in the spirit......WRONG!!! Truly, I'd choose ANY STATE in the U.S. over Florida. Oh, and did any of you know, we're running out of natural resources here due to overcrowding but the Department of Tourism and Chambers of Commerce don't want that to get out. Ohhh.....shut my mouth!!!
