Where would you go?

I'm thinking of taking the girls on a long weekend trip in March. I am on spring break from classes, and I'll pull them out a Fri/Mon. We could leave Thursday and come back Monday....

We have southwest here, so I could fly to one of those "cheaper" destinations. I'm not looking for a WDW vaca because financially I wont be able to swing that.

Some place "warm" as we'll be leaving vermont snow behind.....not really a party type place as its just me and the girls.....

thoughts???? ideas????? try to pick a "budget" type place LOL

How about Washington DC. If you rent a car you could stay outside the city and use the metro to go to museums, etc.

How about someplace else in Florida? Tampa? Jacksonville? Gainesville?

Or inland in South Carolina or Georgia?

Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC could be a great place to go. It will not be warm yet but the weather should be nice. There is a lot to see and do in those areas and I think the Charleston area is so peaceful.

What about a 3 night cruise? You can get some good deals on cruises... not Disney Cruise Line but maybe Royal Carribean.

Cancun? You can usually get pretty inexpensive flights and the all inclusive lodging is pretty inexpensive there. I would stay off the strip at the Moon Palace or some where near there though.

Phoenix or Las Vegas usually has good fares that time of year, too. We went to Phoenix and stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge which is a great hotel for kids!

Slightly biased, but I'd vote for the Charleston, SC area. Myrtle Beach may be doable as well. Charleston is beautiful then! Very laid back, but nice. My second choice would be Sedona, Arizona. Really gorgeous and peaceful. A wonderful place.
