Where would I be without Walt?

Where would my life be had it not been for Walt Disney? My life is so totally revolved around his creations that I couldn't imagine life without them. As I sit here at my computer there's a cute mickey and minnie sticker smiling at me from the bottom of my monitor. I am here on the disboards which wouldn't be if there were no disney parks. I belong to the disney vacation club which we use at least one a year. I have two jobs..a walt disney world travel agent and a school bus driver. In my bus are disney world magnets. My husband just texted me and my text tone is "it's the time of your life" from the celebrate theme song. On the floor to my left is my daughter's stuffed minnie mouse in her pink dress from mickey mouse clubhouse. My name is Wendy..and yes I was named after Peter Pan. I know...walt didn't write the book...but he made the cartoon that my mom watched as a child and fell in love with the name Wendy. On my entertainment center is a Mr. Potato Head all decked out in a mickey sorcerer hat holding a mickey balloon and a mickey ice cream bar. Also on the entertainment center is a Giselle snowglobe and a smaller snowglobe with Cinderella's Glass Slipper in it. In my Bluray player is...toy story 3. That's pixar true..but disney too. The list goes on and on and on.

I'm with you on this one. My entire life seems to be Disney. I love that I found the DIS.. I don't feel like a crazy person anymore!

I hear ya, Wendy. Everything you said rings true for me, too. For me it started when I was a little girl watching The Wonderful World of Color which became The Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night at 7 pm. Disney has helped me through some rough patches in my life, letting myself be carried away into the fantasy and magic. I had a book of traditional nursery rhymes that used Disney characters in the illustrations and that book helped me sleep every night. I "got it" even way back then and I have it worse now! Thank God for Walt!
