Just wondering where or what park people will be at for the 4th of July?

but are the fireworks that grand that people must go to the Magic Kingdom?

This past July 4th we (DH and myself)were in Epcot. It was a blast:woohoo: We would do the same this , but will probably be at the shore with extended family.

I would really like to be in Washington DC in that Hotel that everyone says is so nice.

We'll be at the MK! It's crazy-crowded but that's part of the fun. Every year we forgo using our DVC points and rent a cabin at Ft. Wilderness for a few days, then take the boat to/from MK. Last year it rained on/off during the day but finally stopped- we went to MK for the fireworks and parade only and spent the day at the Fort. I've got young grandchildren now so they really enjoy the campfire at Ft.Wilderness and having lots of room to run around and play. We have a BBQ on our deck, so for us this is the only way to celebrate the 4th.--Kathy

we will be at BLT for the fireworks on the 3rd and Epcot on the 4th

Hollywood Studio, it's one of the few time they have fireworks. Go to MK on the 3rd, just as crowded but you get to see them both. Well worth it at MK we went 2 years ago and our girls still bring it up.

We go to Epcot... Hell or high crowds... Where ever you go... go with patience and enjoyment of the moment. Don't ever allow yourself to be in escape mode. Let everyone else escape, while you watch them.

I will probably be at work serving all those people who have the holiday off. (but the up side to that is we go to Disney when it is not crowded.)

We will be on the Disney Wonder July 4th, 2011 on our Alaska Cruise! WOO! HOO!

I'll be here at home on the DIS, counting down the days until my August trip living the 4th of July dream through all of you that will be there celebrating!!

Have a great time!!

from BLT TOTWL and over at the Poly beach. Both were awesome!! When we went to the Poly, it was a little crowded, so plan on getting there early. When the fireworks were done, we walked over the the GF and got a bite to eat, then boarded the monorail back to BLT. That little bit of time seemed to clear out the rush that was leaving right after the fireworks. Again, it was a wonderful experience, which we hope to repeat sometime soon!!:)

We'll be heading to Hollywood studios (My DD's pick since it's her B-day) and then heading to the Dream the next day for 5 nights!

Oh, thanks for raising this question! Looking at the calendar, we have a 4-day weekend for July 4th this year! Whoo-whoo ... that is longer than either Christmas or New Years this year. I should start planning something ... where to go, where to go .... :confused3

Wow! That sounds like the ideal way to go! (Aside from being at WDW, that is!)

We will be at our cabin in Minnesota's great north woods and doing our OWN fireworks! ;)
