How did I NOT react to the Peeps store...that is where you ladies would have left me while you shoe shopped...no I don't like the taste (too sweeeeet) but I would have been standing there in awe of the pretty colors ...so pretty...doesn't take much to make me happy

back at the hotel. relax for a few moments enjoying a glass of iced tea in these really awesome wine glasses..

A couple of months ago D~ daughter V "borrowed" D~ cell phone and gained Suzi and my cell numbers. She had text us stating Josh wanted to do something special for D~ and her birthday. Seriously how sweet is that?!?!? as time went on we haven't heard anything Suzi and i wanted to text V back to find out if there was anything we can do for the party? We were scared D may intercept it and we would be busted... figuring we hadn't hear anything maybe Josh had gotten busy or didn't have the time to set anything up.
Back at the hotel in the NOW. Suzi said we should all wear our new PJ pants she had bought us! What a marvelous idea!! dressed in my new Pj pants, the best ever sweatshirt and most comfy shoes (which matched my comfy PJ pants) i am ready for a BBQ!!!
This was in the parking lot.. Can someone tell me what is it!

The drive was nice! we stopped at a liquor store need provisions and i have an issue going to someone's house empty handed.. call it the Irish superstition whatever. I need to get something. SO we bought Josh's favorite beer, a bottle of wine, and my favorite of this summer.. WOODCHUCK APPLE CIDER! YUM YUM YUM.

Everyone came out we were all introduced and let me tell you here. D's family is adorable!!! V and Allie are so adorable and gorgeous!

LOOK HOW CUTE!!! they were so appreciative, gracious and just so CUTE! I feel in love with them immediately!!! Then there is my home away from home puppy MM!!! WHAT A SWEETHEART!!! MM is a cuddly MOOSE!!! I loved every minute of being here!!! I think Suzi and D were too:

Josh then tells D~ that all the neighbors have been invited! it's a SURPRISE PARTY!!! and here we are in our PJ's... Ah well A & V also jumped into Pj's so we had a surprise PJ Birthday party for D!!!
We tried to sit outside yet again Mother Nature and her bi-polar personality decided it needed to rain... then stop..... then rain.... then stop... you get the picture Poor Josh was going to BBQ no matter what the weather had decided to do. D friends/neighbors showed up and were honestly the nicest people!!! LET THE OOTs COMMENCE! really cool to see D with everyone. The food was AH-MAZ-ING!!! i cannot tell you how yummy it was! italian sausage hot dogs burgers, grilled veggies the works! mouth watering.. while we were outside D said how we were talking about the accents. They all agreed they didn't.. Suzi and i still disagree...
now it was my FAVORITE TIME!!! To go shooting with A!! I was looking forward to this all weekend!

OmGoodness...I can just see you ladies acting all crazy like the teenagers that run and laugh at Disney World...just completely oblivious to whatever else may be going on around you....sounds like you lived in the moment! Love it!

A and I are on our way!!! Now i am in my element! taking pictures of things that DON'T MOVE!!! we had a really ugly sky. so we make what we can.
first stop of the tour:

a beautiful church. Teaching A how to use her camera in RAW format and manual modes. I really loved to be able to go out with her. She seemed so INTO it as much as i am. it was a highlight of the trip!

we really had crappy weather. You must make the best of what you have!

this is where we are going to get very picture heavy.







again D's children are awesome... A was so respectable to the church and it's surrounding SUCH a pleasure to take her out.

this wasn't about me I really was excited to take A out and show her all the cool ways you can take a picture!!

I had forgotten my phone at D's house they sent poor V out looking for us! (i have adopted them as my Minn-kids) Luckily she was able to find us
IT WAS TIME TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
V made this delicious rhubarb cake that is to DIE FOR. with ice cream.. i pretty much licked the bowl CLEAN.. I felt bad for leaving the party to go shooting.. but that only took about a second to get over it..
SORRY we were on a time limit!!!

The rest of D~ guests had gone home and we were left with my face still inside the bowl licking it CLEAN! I really wanted to get back and get more pictures!!! I

I totally skipped a HUGE and IMPORTANT piece!!!​

Before everyone came by D gave us the grand tour of her beautiful home!

A and V showed us their rooms... YOU NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING about D and her awesome family.. I have never seen such talent under one roof!!!!
First.. Her daughters are SO creative. Their drawing talents are.... i can't think if a better adjective... stupendous? amazing? It's more then that. SUCH TALENT! Plus they can Sew?!? seriously??? Photography?!?! acoustic guitar??? Yes Yes and yes... I was awe struck when the Girls started showing all their work to us.
Yep. I am proud to say i have met her family and she trusted us enough to do so.

No there are NO pictures here..

Then you know what we were able to do??? We saw the famous Sewing room!!!!!! Suzi and i were the lucky ones to see where D~ makes her MAGIC come to life with the awesome creations of Bags!!!! this is where we have to STOP calling them D~bags, if you can't figure that out... google d-bag and let me know if you don't agree. So they are now DaBags. or Serendipi D~ you will never hear me call them the other any longer...

I was able to see all the fabrics. I saw the machines I SAW IT ALL!!! I had to sign a NDI disclosure.. What i CAN say is i wanted to just take a TONS of stuff leave a check behind... but i didn't... i was good... Suzi Not so much...
Even wiped my feet and bowed before entering this room!!!

Took me a moment to get my eye's back into my head and come down from cloud 9 after seeing the where the magic comes to life..

I LOVE new sweatshirts! all soft and fluffy like wearing a teddy bear!!! walking up to the counter the more then helpful worker who was more then willing to join in on the fun decided to tell me for just a mere 5.00 more i can get a free drawstring backpack! 3 candy bars later I am the proud owner of a Drawstring backpack emblazoned with "Ma'ma says i'm special!!!
Don't hate...

I feel the same way about my sweatshirts... I wear them all the time... My family teases me because I walk around all day every day with my hood up...

Lego Store!!!

The Lego store was fun, but I didn't buy anything. Mo - didn't you get a TON of awesome pictures of this store from above the day before?

[All the "sculptures" were breathtaking! the amount of time that went into these!!!
I ended up getting the boys a race car and a 2 in 1 boat and helicopter!!! the car had a mechanism in it so when you pull it back it drives forward. I knew Zack would love it!! Matt would love it then ask his brother to put it together for him....
Suzi scored some fun stuff for Bradey too!!

CLEARLY we need to go on a ride.. or two...
First we went on this:
The orange Streak i was a little scared because they would NOT allow me to hold my camera and had to put it in this locker thing along with the bags!!! did i mention the wait time was about 3 minutes??
we take the last car... Why??? Cuz it's the cool thing to do! We are the coolest kids there!
Suzi in the back then D~ and ME! OFF WE WENT!!!!!!! Screaming around the park. This ride was really cool because the track really did go ALL Around the entire amusement park. we were able to see everything.. i really wish i had my camera.. if your insatiable desire is to relive our amazing ride... go google it.

Did you Google it??? looks fun right??? totally was.

LOG FLUME!!!!!!​

Going into line was kind of reminded us of a less impressive Thunder/Splash Mountain! so we needed to bring up the fun!!! laughing and singing like a bunch of teenagers! Well ya know we just turned 29!!! Just acting our ages... we have found our laughing place... literally...
we talked about going to Disney together and a possible quick Disney trip soon! Once we made it to the top i had noticed how the guy in the BACK wasn't so wet... and the person in the front.. well..... not so much.
OUR TURN! i RUN to the back of the flume...
We have to bring our bags! Time to hide the camera so it isn't going to get soaked. The flume itself is drenched!!! I'm in the back, D~ in the middle and lucky Suzi is in front!!!
Off we go.. once we hit the water the log decides it wants to tip one way or the other. D~ announces we HAVE TO stay seated in the MIDDLE! OK log is back on track.. no more tipping..
Until the drop… SPLASH… it was a B.I.G. splash.. Had nothing to do with the fact most of the weight was me in the back.. Na ugh… Then out of NO WHERE Paul Bunyan with his 105 foot blue OX looms over us like and we are the snack of the afternoon! D~ was holding onto the seat in front of her in a massive death grip white knuckled almost broke the poor seat in half. Not exaggerating in the least…
Getting out of the log proved ummm interesting to try to get out of…
My Bubba gump bag is wet and handle is broken! I CANNOT stop cracking up at this point. I don’t know if my camera is OK. But nothing matters at this point I am DOUBLED over laughing.. Poor Suzi is soaked to the bone. D and her death grip. Tears are now pouring out of my eyes I cannot stop laughing.. I don’t know how I made it over into the exit area.. but I am almost ROLLING around on the ground with peals of laughter!
Now we are outside the ride found a bench to reorder our bags. Yes I am still giggling. Bags repacked camera is perfect. I’m still having shocks of amusement where I have to stop walking to gather myself together once again…
Time has gotten away from us we needed to head back to the hotel drop off our new stuff and head over to D~ house for the BBQ!!!

This was just the funnest part about whole trip... There we were in line, planning a FUN Disney adventure... and enjoying a ride that isn't anywhere near as cool as SPlash - but having a great timea nyways because we were together.

Now, D~ was trying to be a little sneaky... We really wanted a picture of our Log Flume ride, but I guess the MOA is on to picture stalkers like me??? Use your imagination - OK? Mo is in the back - you can kind of see her shadow... IF you look REALLY closely - you can see my arm wrapped around the seat - holding on for dear life... And I am not sure you can see poor Suzi at all... but she is the wet one in front.

I am so happy you enjoyed yourselves... I was really nervous when Josh told me he invited the WHOLE TOWN... I didn't want you all to feel out of place at all... There is nothing worse than going to someone's house and made to feel unwelcome or out of place... I truly enjoyed having you both here - it really made this birthday extra special for me - and I doubt that Josh will ever be able to top that one... The whole night was just amazing. Thank you so much for coming and being a part of it...

IT WAS TIME TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
V made this delicious rhubarb cake that is to DIE FOR. with ice cream.. i pretty much licked the bowl CLEAN.. I felt bad for leaving the party to go shooting.. but that only took about a second to get over it..
SORRY we were on a time limit!!!

The rest of D~ guests had gone home and we were left with my face still inside the bowl licking it CLEAN! I really wanted to get back and get more pictures!!! I
n tow was Suzi, D, A, V, and ME! where did we go?!?!? My most FAVORITE place in the world to shoot (apart from Disney)..

Oh wow Mo... Those pictures... Where in the world is my bow down guy??? Seriously - they make me want to go to church right this moment. Amazing - utterly amazing!

And thank you for taking Alli out - she had a great time and I think she learned a lot from you. You are an amazing friend to do this for her.

And the whole time - Suzi was stuck at my house, listening to me ramble... Probably why she isn't feeling well.

Awww... Thanks Mo... I just don't even kn ow what to say. Thanks for enjoying your time here and liking my family - I didn't even have a chance to tell them to be on their best behavior. So I am glad they were.
