Yeah, all your decorations and "tricks" are great! I don't like to be scared, so we never really go with the "darker" side of Halloween. I have friends who like to do the haunted houses, haunted prisons and haunted woods tours this time of year, but I politely bow out. DH and I don't like horror movies either. He had nightmares after watching Predator when he was 13, and the scariest movie I have ever seen is the first Scream movie! Yeah, we're wimps! But, we DO like Tower of Terror!

I am totally with you on this too Oopsi... I am super-wimp.

Used to LOVE CSI, Criminal Minds... all those shows... Nope, not me anymore. Once my mind realized that 75% of those shows are based on the >things I can't even think about< happening to pre-teen and teen-aged girls... my mind can't even go there. I started having nightmares about my own girls.

We now watch things like... Everyone loves Raymond... and The Middle (love that show)... And the new Tim Allen one... Mash...

And scary movies - NO WAY... No Jason, no Freddie, no terror of any sort, no Zombies, Aliens...

PBS is my best friend. LOVE documentries... Love the travel channel...

I am very excited for the AvatarLand! I loved that movie and I think they can just do SO much with it....yay!

Vampire merlot...hmmm, I'm gonna have to find that. I am another one of the scaredy pants when it comes to haunted stuff. We go for the cuter side of Halloween. But honestly, it is probably one of my least favorite "holidays" so we usually barely make it through, then it's on to Thanksgiving!

Mo, it looks like Halloween was Spooktacular at your house. we love Halloween around here too. We don't do much in the way of decorations, but DBF dresses up in his Pinhead costume every year and hands out candy while my ex-hubby and I take DS trick-or-treating (yes the ex-hubby and I get along and do Halloween together). Hey...it works for us!

I didn't get many pics this year (and none of Pinhead). I will have to see if I can dig up some old pics of DBF in his Pinhead costume.

I love it! I love Halloween too, but I am bad about decorating... Probably because I work retail and I get sick of looking at the halloween decorations? LOL

All the costumes are great... Lex is adorable!

Mmmmm... I do love wine too... It's a vice of mine (and the neighbors... all of them - Usually at the same time. LOL)

i've always loved Halloween.. we have been getting lots and lots more decorations. it's the start of all the best holidays!!!
Lex is a big baby. He's great dane/greyhound mix. they tried to pass him off as 100% great dane... But sadly no. bad breeder.

I watched Exorcist when i was 13 and i am still having nightmares!!! The movie scream: saw it in the theater with my parents and my youngest sister. I accidentally kicked the poor teenager in the head in front of me...
Haunted houses are fun! lots of fun stories there too! Side note: in my early twenties before i was married I used to be a ghost hunter... before the hype. before it was "cool"
I have great memories when i was a teenager and halloween we had AWESOME times. too many stories to share!! But fall over fun!

Been awhile!

Sorry RL got in the way... I proudly say football is FINALLY OVER!!!
I'm so happy!!! we stayed a steady of 0- 12 yeah didn't win ONE GAME! the league this year was horrible. bad coaches.. I hope they get a better program next year...

I have become the Volleyball Coordinator for the kids school. I figured i better do it now so by the time Meg is old enough to play i already have my foot in the door... Well getting everyone signed up and ready for the leagues we had enough for a 4th grade team... Guess who the coach is!!! yours truly!!! Tonight is our first practice and i am SO EXCITED!!! me... shaping young minds... HA HA HA HA.. it's going to be a fun season!!!

I also have taken over ALL bills in my house. Turning into the money Nazi... NO SPENDING FOR YOU.
we have changed a lot of what's going on.. LIKE we have a toll road called the skyway. it's literately that high! ha ha. But the toll is $3.50!!!
So cut that out. takes longer to get to work and i have to get up earlier. Good thing i am never late for work. I get here at 5:30am now!!! I start at 6am...
Like Oopsi i have been doing the survey's on line.. and i am up to 38.67!! YAY!
I am also going to start a photography site to sell some of my pictures.. Some are really nice and i am VERY self conscious about it. I hope i am good enough.
I want to start with the kids football and do pet photography. See where it goes...
I also started to round off my check book. to the highest number so i always have more in there yet don't know it... The bad thing? I have to go back and check how much overage i did! im a dummy... This is going to take a bit of patience...

Work is getting busy and i have two projects i am head of. so i won't have too much time here.. But promise to get updates and replies! still have the DIS on my phone!!

Received the kids report cards. Matt is A B student. Meg is AB and two C's and i am happy with it. Zack with his learning Disability is still reading at a 1st grade level but is WILLING to learn and all the teachers call him a breath of fresh air. because he is willing and wants to do better. He is B C student! I love my kids.. i really do.

Nothing much on the planning part. I did sub to TP thanks to someone here that helped me make a decision.. There is a phone app for it too!!! I LOVE IT! need to play more on it in a few...

Which survey site do you use?? I am addicted to SwagBucks. I just got another $25 to Amazon for the month. I do most of my Christmas shopping on Amazon and thanks to SwagBucks, I had 95% of it free last year. Working my way back up again this year. The DIS kinda took over my spare internet time, so SwagBucks got put on the back burner. But I'm getting there.

I am also going to start a photography site to sell some of my pictures.. Some are really nice and i am VERY self conscious about it. I hope i am good enough.

Awesome ways to save some moola... I've done our bills for years. Unfortunately, DH just thinks I am some sort of money nazi and I hoard all of our $$... There are bills to be paid and I am just as broke as he is.

Suzi... Dave Ramsey's program is great for learning how to budget. He is a bit too strict for us - but we do follow him loosely, and it has helped.

I might need to look into Swagbucks... Highly recommended by my Dis friends.

I need to spend more time over on TP... I guess I am missing a lot.

So, I just now realized that you cannot actually "cash out" with E-rewards. You redeem for other things like flyer miles, hotel rewards points, and sometimes gift cards. I did hear that they occasionally offer Target GC's...this would be FANTASTIC, since I could use the Target GC's to get Disney GC's. Here's hoping!

I guess I need to go check out Swagbucks...
