I need help in WHEN to go. So...
Sept 8th is their Birthday. i want to be IN Disney ON or before the 8th. which poses a problem for me. because the 8th (2014) is a Monday!

I want to drive unless i can get REALLY REALLY cheap flights. the more people i talk to the more people drive there. Sooooooo I am thinking driving can be kind of be fun???
Then again.. I will miss the ME....... GAH!!!! I hate this.

OK.. I have autograph books.. several of them filled.. Do i get each one a new book??? i'm NOT crafty enough to make them...

Driving especially with 2 drivers can be a LOT of fun...especially when one gets mad and gets out on the I-4 dressed in hospital scrubs and the children say Let him stay there we're going to WDW !!!! good times Seriously have done the drive and it was FUN (ok except for that one time when an unknown party to this marriage looked like a psych patient on the loose ) I still MISS DME and look longingly at the buses all the time AND FWIW the acronym is DME not ME I have got to learn you

I KNOW on phone reservations are taking for Feb 2014 because a lot of runners are booking rooms, call & ask when Sept is open for on phone reservations...that the best I can tell you I would go Sat to Sat

Okay, I'm all caught up again. It's been 10 days since I've been here. I can't believe it!! I love the rest of the mall trip report. And the photos get better if that's even possible. It was so neat of you to go out and share your knowledge with Allie. Your report makes me laugh and smile with every page. I can just see you guys goofing off on the rides and everywhere else for that matter. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time and made life time friends as well.

I also love the first video you posted on YouTube. I'm going now in search of the others. I was getting a divorce when my girls were 5 and 7, so we never got them to Disney when they were little. Dan and I married and he had custody of his two boys, so we had 4 kids and I stayed home to raise them, so smaller income. No Disney for them as little ones. I do love seeing everyone else's photos/videos and reading about the memories they made. I wish I could have done it, but that's the way it was. Now, only one of the three care much for Disney. We did get the girls there when they were in jr high and one of the boys when he was 17!! (he didn't want to go before that) And finally our oldest boy went with us in 2011 at the age of 32!! He's the Disney fan. Hold on to those memories. They are so precious!! And thanks for sharing!

Okay, I'm all caught up again. It's been 10 days since I've been here. I can't believe it!! I love the rest of the mall trip report. And the photos get better if that's even possible.

Thank you!!! I can always get better.. i really need a new lens. and then I REALLY REALLY want a new camera body. Which i MIGHT buy in 2015 tax return. Right now every dime is going to savings, for the 2014 trip!!!

When i met the girls (Josh) i instantly felt at home. I couldn't wait to to get out with Allie! She is such a great kid! She was so fun to go out with. Cannot wait to go out with them again!!! I hope they can make it to Chicago one big Meet here. it would be amazing!!!

my Parents took me in 1978.. I remember Epcot was being built. we never went back. I really wanted to go.. My husband never went anywhere. His parents never even gave him birthday parties.
In 2010 Tom announced we were going to Disney. (for our 10 anniversary and the Triplets 6th Birthday!) lets book it! that's when everything Disney took over my brain!
I'm sorry you weren't able to get the kids there sooner BUT YOU DID IT!

When to go?
Wednesday 9/3- Wednesday 9/10?
Thursday 9/4 - Thursday 9-11?
Friday 9/5- Friday -/12?
Saturday 9/6- Sat 9/6?
Sunday 9/7- Sun 9/14
Or Monday 9/8 (their Birthday) to 9/15?!?!?

Looking at Touring Plans the weekend of Labor day is a crowd level of about 9. So that is why i started with the 3rd..

Also looks like they start MNSSHP starts the second week in Sept which i would really like to try to get to..

PLEASE keep in mind i DESPISE crowds.

You guys are the knowledgeable ones on days of the week which are the best. I know air would be cheaper during the week rather then the weekend.
IF we fly...
I am still convinced we can drive being a ton cheaper.

I spoke with Tom yesterday HE knows i am going to Disney with my midgets with or without him..
Without him i would have to fly.


So the main question remains.. When do i go? ALL i care about is being IN Disney when they turn the big 10.

If so its my understanding that due to illness he is not much involved and the TP are pretty out dated

Besides, we will probably be there at the same time and to top it all off, Sept 3 is my bd!

Also, we were there in 2011 over Labor Day and I did not find the crowds to be outrageous - and I hate crowds too.

I vote the same dates as you Tess Crowds in Sept are very low, a good time to come, can still be hot BUT tour smart It will be fine

Someone else asked what LDW was on another report and i just remembered...

SO if that is the case and labor day is the first Monday it will be on Monday Sept 1st!!!.I printed one out it gave me this:

Ugh oh! you have the 3rd and RuthIE is the 6th!!! we will have to get together and have a birthday something-er-other!!!!!! YAY i have DIS MEETS!!!!!!! I'm so excited about that alone!!!
