Where we ate Dec. 1-4

We ate at the following places on our trip to the World: Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, 1900 Park Fare, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Tusker House, and Sommerfest. All were wonderful! If you have any questions about these places, feel free to ask.

I've never tried Liberty Tree Tavern yet. Were you there for lunch or dinner? What did you order, and how did you like it?

We had dinner. Since it is a character dinner, with a set menu, they start you off with rolls and salad with a strawberry vinegrette which was YUMMY! Then, the meal is served family-style and consisted of flank steak, turkey, ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and macaroni and cheese. All were excellent. You can have more, but we were full with the first round. Dessert was apple cobbler with ice cream. I thought the food was really good, and the character interaction (Goofy, the Chipmunks, and Minnie) was fantastic.

I would like to try their lunch menu also since the dinner was so good.

We had the skillets. We started with salad, the n our server brought out the skillets that had kielbasa, chicken, ribs, pulled pork, beans, mashed potatos, and corn. Everything was GREAT!! We (my DD2, my DH, and myself) barely finished the first skillet since there was a TON of food.

I had the s'mores dessert, which was pretty good.

The atmosphere was wonderful, and our server was great! My DD started to get fussy, and he was so helpful. She liked the food and all of the activities that went on, especially the stick horse races. We really enjoyed it!
