I'm sure this has been asked a million times but of course I can't find anything in the search.

Where is the best place to sit and watch the parades and fireworks at MK. I will have as stroller and a dd3.

Thanks!!!!

Make sure you get there early enough, I suggest upstairs at the stain station, they have benches too.

You'll so many different answers on this subject.

I prefer sitting on Main Street as close to the Castle as possible for the parade and then we walk toward the Castle and get a spot near it fo Wishes!

Some prefer Liberty Square as it's not as crazy and crowded. Some like the Train Station at the entrance but you'd have to get there early.

Good luck!

I like to watch the SADCT parade in Frontierland. We set ourselves up right in front of Splash Mountain and get to view the parade as it comes down the driveway. We just make sure to get right up at the end of the rope. Then, right after, we head off to Splash to cool down.

For Wishes we like to sit in the counter service area between Tomorrowland and Main St. Used to be the Plaza Counter Service and is now the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace, I believe. It's nice to get a seat to view the show and Tink flies right overheard. Just be sure to get there about 45 minutes prior.

We couldn't keep younger DS awake long enough for wishes, but we got a good seat for the parade by chance. We had a long FP gap for Peter Pan so, as it was getting on for mid-day, decided to pop to the Main St Bakery for tea and cake to keep us going (we brits like our tea and cake!). Anyway, we noticed that there were a lot of people sitting on the sidewalks with very few walking down Main St. So we stopped to get a lovely photo in front of the castle (without hundreds of people standing just behind us) and wandered on. It was only when we were sitting down I consulted the show times and noticed there was an extra parade at 12.30. Anyway, we'd just finished and could hear music, so we went outside and, by standing just at the edge of the turning where the CM keeps it clear for emergency access got a great view of the parade. :sunny:
This was a real bonus for us as we'd thought we would have to give the parades a miss (it was a hot day, DS x 2 getting a bit cranky and wanting to ghead for Blizzard Beach) :cheer2:

If you don't want to be squished for the parades I would suggest Frontierland too.. We just got back from our very first trip to WDW and we found really great spots up to 20 minutes or even less in Frontierland with great views...

As for the fireworks I only got to see them once and we decided to stay and watch them at the last minute.. So 25 minutes before they started we walked thru the Noodle place and it was already packed.. Then we noticed a little walkway just off the hub on the right side face the castle that hardly had anyone there so we strolled over there and had a really good view.. Probably wasn't the best but it wasn't jam packed and we could stand right there with no one blocking our views ( and we had a stroller)!!
