Where to watch fireworks at Hollywood Studios

I've never watched fireworks at Hollywood Studios before, so I was excited to hear about the special fireworks this summer. Where is a good place to stand to watch them?

On Hollywood Blvd. (the "Main Street" of DHS,) anywhere between Sunset Blvd. and the entrance plaza (with the tall column with Mickey atop it.)

Look for the tape lines on the ground marking the walkway near Disney & Co and stand on the entrance side of the line closer to an entrance. This way nobody can stand in front of you. Another option is in front of the 50s Prime Time Café at Echo Lake. This article is for SWW, but it includes shots from both locations.

In front of Min and Bill's Dockside Diner is also a good spot. Not crowded and you will have a view of the American Idol screen to watch what's going on onstage at the Hat.
