where to view wishes?

I wanted to watch Wishes one night this Sept from outside the MK - other than the California Grill, are there any good viewing spots (can be other restaurants too)?

I will be solo for part of my trip, and won't be doing the parks until later that week for NOJ (when I know Wishes won't be shown).

ive seen wishes from the beach at the polynesian and its beautiful but they dont play the music there. i ve never done it but have heard good things about seeing it from ohana,narcoosees (sp?), and supposidly if you catch the boat at the right time the show is great from there too. also someone on here wrote that there is another floor at the contemporary for viewing wishes that plays the music as well. not sure what floor though. good luck its the best fireworks ive ever seen at disney!

They played the music at the pool at the Poly. We watched from the beach but then walked to the pool and were surprized by the music!
also we were told that in Ohana they turn down the lights and play the music so get a PS for a late dinner at a time that would work with the show.

Top places to watch Wishes for us

1) Main Street USA - in front of Caseys
2) Grand Floridian Boat Dock - yes music is piped in
3) Ohana's - lights are turned down and it is fabulous! But if you don't get a window seat your view may be obstructed
4) Beach at the Polynesian - FABULOUS!
5) Train Station at MK
