Where to stop on way down

I'm looking for recommendations about where to stop on the drive down to Fla. Can anyone recommend a safe place to stop for the night somewhere within an hour of the GA/FL border on 95?

There are some decent places in Brunswick just a little north of the FL line. I stayed at a comfort suites about three years ago. It made for nice short ride the next day.

We've stopped twice now in Kingsland Ga. Short hop to Florida border.... Hampton Inn, great free breakfast in am, clean and quite safe!

We drive from SE Ohio, and the trip that we stopped for,the night, we stopped in Brunswick. I think that put us about 4 hours from WDW, give or take.

Pick up a Roomsavers book at the welcome center for Georgia (or whatever state) and you can save a lot of $$$. We stayed at a brand new hotel for $39. We plan to drive about 14 hours the first day (from NE Ohio) and start using our Roomsaver to find a place to stay when we can't stand being the car any more.

I've always spent the night at the Pooler (Savanah airport) exit off I-95. Plenty of hotels to choose from and nearby dining.
