where to stay?

We are going to orlando in july of 05.We will be going to discovery cove and wdw.Not sure if we should stay on property at wdw or look for something between the two places.We will have a car.I love disney properties but will only going to wdw 2 days and 1 day to discovery cove and 1 to sea world.Where would you guys stay.

Hilton Grand Vacation CLub - across the street to SW and next door to DC. plus it is a beautiful resort!!!

Sometimes one appears on Skyauction.

if this is too expensive (or you can't find one at a reasonability price).

then any of the timeshares between WDW and SW - there are lots of them - several Marriotts, 2 sheratons, Oasis Lakes, Embassy Vacation Resort.

if you want something closer to WDW - Marriott (Royal Palms, Sabal Palms, Imperial Palms) - Sheraton Vistana Resort, Cypress Point Resort.

these are all timeshare - so go find some on

then you only want the ones for 7 days - the others are hotels and timeshares acting like hotels.

the extra charge for a timeshare is $195 +$15 for a total of $215 - the extra charges for the hotel are $32 a night.

I'm a rental home convert !! Try Daystar Villas I just got back from a 2 night AKL stay then followed it up with 12 nights at a rental home I booked on there, it was bliss.

Got to agree the rental homes are a great deal. If you are not in the parks every day you will enjoy yourself just staying home. Most have pools, spas, tv's dvd's, vcr's, a game system. Just like being at home but better. Some have club houses that house game rooms, work out rooms, and such. Good luck with what ever you choose. Have a great vaca.

Rental condos are a great deal. You can get multiple edrooms and bathrooms for the price (or less) of a hotel. Pm me if you want a referral for a good one.

Most especially since you have already stayed with Disney, before, I say stay with them this time too. Once youre in your car its all the same deal anyway and Disney knows how to take care of you....
