I'm hoping to take a quick trip (3 nights) to WDW for my birthday and my anniversary - just my husband and me. We haven't had an adults-only getaway since June 2005 and since then we've had another baby and he's spent a year in Iraq. So, I want to make this getaway special! We have seasonal AP's and I have a Disney Visa and we're FL residents, so I'm hoping to get a good deal on a room. The better the deal, the better the room!

Target dates: 1/4-1/7/2008.

So, what would be romantic and fun? We've stayed at CSR twice and have reservations for Aug/Sept there. I want to try somewhere new. I'd prefer to have a king bed, but a queen is OK.

I've heard good and bad things about the buses at POFQ and WL. What are your experiences?

Thanks for input! :goodvibes

How about the Poly? You cannot get much more romantic than sitting on the beach, surrounded by palm trees, watching Wishes across the water.

Thanks. We live near the beach, so to us the beach and tropical feel are too much like home. Not exciting to us, LOL. I want to feel like we're really "away from home," know what I mean? Thank you for responding!

I would go with the Wilderness Lodge. I love to wander around the resort. There are plenty of little out of the way nooks to sit and spend quality time with that special someone. :)

The bus service was okay. If you are in a hurry, grab a taxi. It's not that expensive depending on where you want to go.

Oh, sorry about that! I do know what you mean. I live in Michigan, so the Wilderness Lodge just doesn't have any appeal for me. I can stay somewhere similiar that is close to home for a lot less money. But it might just be the thing for you and your hubby.:goodvibes

swan/dolphin! I stayed there about a month ago and I LOVED it! the pools are soooooo awesome!!!!!! I can't say that enough!
