There's every place you could imagine on I-drive and Kirkman Road. Go directly to the hotel web sites and search.
Directly across from the parking garage of USF is Holiday Inn, and the Radisson (two towers). Up the road a mile is a www.hojo.com suites hotel. I stayed there and it was great for the price. The rooms have the bedroom, living room, kitchen with fridge, and tv in each room. It's one of the best kept secrets around for the price. Look for the one with the address of 4601 Kirkman road.
