Where to Stay in the FLA Keys...

RCI has 2 places to stay in the Keys. We'd like to only stay a few days so we're down to one place in Marathon. SO, what I'm thinking is stay in Key West and just pay for it, but where should we stay? Anybody heard of "The Inn at Key West"???

It really depends on what you are looking for. There are a lot of higher priced hotels located right on Duval Street on the marina where you can watch the sunset every night. There are also lots of little Inns and Bed & Breakfasts. We went to Key West last December for an overnight trip and we stayed at a the Best Western Hibiscus Motel. It was a nice place within walking distance to Duval St. and the southernmost point. The motel was kept clean and recently went under a renovation, so the rooms are nice. They also had a complementary continental breakfast including breads, cereals, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy.

See if they're doing preview stays at one of the Hyatt's, this may be your best option. The Hammocks is a very nice but quiet resort, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there but if you haven't been to the keys you're likely better off just paying cash and staying in KW if you can't find a preview for the Hyatt's..
