Where to stay in Cancun--any suggestions

The reason we like the Moon Palace is that it is far away from the strip and the whole imaturity of the whole place. If you go on the right times, the whole strip is full of drunk high school and college kids. You can not walk up the strip without mexicans trying to get you to come tour their hotel or timeshare. it is pretty pushy

We passed by Moon Palace on our way to the Cozumel Ferry dock. After spending 3 days in Cozumel on the strip, MP looked pretty inviting and if we ever return, I would definitely opt for a little more isolation and privacy.

We had our worst and last timeshare experience ever while there.

The exchange fee is $75, don't give Disney any ideas, LOL. DCL is $75 but the adventurer and CC collection are now $95.
