We've stayed at the Altmaonte Springs Hampton Inn, and it's perfectly acceptable. It's right off I-4 which is a bonus. The Lake Mary location is a few miles off I-4 and theres a very congested shopping strip with a lot of lights between the two (if I'm thinking of the right place).
I moved here from New Jersey where I dealt with NYC Metro traffic every day, and let me tell you, I'd take that over I-4 any day. I-4 from the Turnpike to the Seminole County line has got to be about the worst stretch of road in the entire USA. Even in the middle of the night or Sunday morning, it's still congested with waaayyy too many people driving 20+ mph over the 50 mph speed limit. It puts the Blackhorse Pike headed towards AC at 7:00 pm on a Friday night to shame. It puts the Garden State Parkway or the BWE on a Monday morning at 8:00 am to shame. It's worse than the I-84/I-91 interchange in Hartford, the Kennedy in Chicago, or any freeway in LA.
There will be a lot of traffic and congestion that day as there is really only one way for 90% of attendees to get to the game, and that's I-4. The closer they are and less they need to drive on it, the better off they will be.
