We are looking at visiting Knotts on our last day in Anaheim in December. We plan on renting a car so location is not super important since we won't be visiting DL that day. We want to stay somewhere nice yet semi-inexpensive since we won't be in the room much. Also somewhere with an indoor pool for the kids to swim in after Knotts closes would be great as well.

I would try the Best Western in Anaheim on Ball Road.

You can get a discounted rate if you use the coupon code: MVP. It is roughly $116 a night with the code for a 2 queen bed room.

You can also get great deals via Hotwire/Priceline at the Hyatt-Orange County. We really like it there if being within walking distance to DL isn't important. :)

ETA: I think they may just have an outside pool though... sorry!

I think the Desert Inn and Suites pool is indoors. Though I think it's tiny and we had a rough stay at that hotel.

I don't know how married you are to the indoor pool thing but for one night maybe gamble on the deeper discounts you find on booking the hotel unnamed through hotwire, priceline or lastminutetravel. I went to add a 5th night to my $99/night Expedia hotel res and was told they were sold out. Called the hotel and was told $149. Went to lastminutetravel.com to see other options on booking a hotel 'blind' for that 5th night and spotted OUR hotel (by the photos) for $72/night. I rebooked the whole 5 nights and saved $50 over the 4 night total from Expedia!

Thanks for the suggestion I will check out those sites :)

The Alpine Inn on Katella. Inexpensive and 'farely' close. (free parking too :thumbsup2)

At least Hotwire tells you if there's an pool... priceline doesn't even do that, so if you want a pool, avoid priceline.

Check out this Anaheim Hotwire hotel list to see what hotel you might get.
