I am having a time trying to figure out where to stay. i dont think we can swing a deluxe resort but i have my choices narrowed down. We are going in June before a cruise and we booked see separate from land because we figured we could get a better deal. now we are stuck with the choice of what hotel to stay at and whether to purchase a pakage or room only and tickets seperate. any help you can give would be a great asset!!! 2 adults 2 kids 9 and 6. :wizard:

I voted for Pop but I haven't been there yet. I stayed at CSR and loved it. The reason I picked Pop though is because I'm guessing you won't be spending much time at your resort and will mostly be at the parks. If that is the case, you might as well go for the cheaper option. If you plan on doing a lot of swimming and/or relaxing at your resort, then go with CSR. Since you're cruising after, I would imagine you'll have plenty of time to do that on the ship.

I've had two bad experiences at Coronado (walls are paper thin and food court set up is bizarre) so I would say if you can afford a moderate, try POR or the Caribbean. I think both are much prettier, better quality, and have better food courts.

If you have to choose between those two, I would stay at an All Star before I stayed at Coronado Springs again!

my 7 and 9 yos LOVED pop! the small room is the downside, but if you are only there for a few days, and doing mainly parks those days, then it won't much matter...

I almost voted Coronado Springs because it's our favorite moderate, and you said price was an issue. But, I had a thought. Don't know if you have an Annual Pass or not, but I would check to see if I could get a good rate at one of the deluxes. WL and AKL often has great discounts, AP or room only sometimes. Not to mention the Swan and Dolphin - they offer discounts as low as $129 per night. We usually stay at deluxe, but we NEVER pay rack rate. I say shop around and go for the gusto!

Otherwise - go with Coronado.

I wish they would put out any discount codes for that time of year. It would be nice to find a wonderful room ony rate and take advantage of the new ticketing procedures (if that is a good beneift, have not checked that out yet.) a deluxe would be good but i would really like a wonderful transportation system. i want to be able to get places with as little hassle as possible. i know that there will be hassles but the least amount would be preferred (i know most people would agree with that)
