Where to stay at OKW

We are getting a 2 Bedroom unit on our first trip staying at OKW any suggestions about where to stay I would like to near the main building and bus stop anything will help we have never been there so I am not sure what to expect but chose it for the larger rooms

Buildings 11-12-13-14 are very close to everything. Personally, I do not like these buildings at all because they are practically in a forest, but they are the closest buildings. I thought the best buildings are the ones with a golf course view--DH is a golfer--especially building 23, 16, and 48. Buildings 62,63,64 are nice, but almost impossible to get. 48 is my new favorite building, since it is right by the bus stop, and has a wonderful golf course view!

I like South Point - very family oriented and great views. Not near the HH but it has its own pool, laundry, etc......

We have stayed at OKW more than 20 times and I can honestly say, I really don't know why folks think they have to be hear the HH. Our favorite area is actually as far away from HH as it can get, but is near a quiet pool. Any room can be a short bus ride away, since all buses stop at HH before leaving the resort, making a trip for sundries or a trip to the restaurant or main pool easily accomplished without additional walking. The views are of woods, water or golf course, with the majority of views being golf coars and water. If you are in a 2 bedroom dedicated unit, you will be in the center of a building. If you are in a lock off, you will be on the ends of the buildings.

Well, my favorite area of OKW is Southpoint. It is near a quiet pool and a bus stop. It is not close to the main area...Hospitality House (HH).

However, every bus that goes through OKW makes the HH area their last stop. You could catch any bus for any park and its last stop will be HH.

We stayed our first trip at OKW near the HH, never again if we can help it. Just too much traffic. Our favorte spot it Turtle Pond buildings 42 or 44.

We like Turtle Pond water views, very peaceful. Buildings 31, 37 & 43 were great. There is a bus stop and community pool within close distance.

I wouldn't ask for a specific building. Instead I would ask for what is most imortant to you (near HH and near a bus stop).

Having said that, I agree with some of the others. I like to be as far away from HH as possible, near a quiet pool. But that is just me. If you want to be close to HH ask for that. But be warned. It is the most popular request, so not everyone who wants to stay in that area is able to.
