Where to start.....

I have been ready all your great PJ and I am even more confused now than I was when I started...
We want to renew our vows for our 25th anniversary and just want an Escape Cermony with maybe 15 family and friends. Nothing really fancy.

Where do I start...
Who and when do I contact DFTW?
Do VR cermonies have a moh and BM ? Reason I ask my 13 yr old wants to be a MOH... shes been a flower girl several times but never a BM or MOH
and do we have to have a reception, I am leaning towards a dessert party at Epcot. Lots more questions, just don't know where to look or call to answer them... We have a trip planned for next June 2010, so I would like to maybe have all my stuff together by then so I know what I am doing.

First off Congrats! That is awesome that you are celebrating 25 years together! For what you want, an escape ceremony sounds perfect. Escape ceremonies book at 8 months before the event but you can probably call Disney and I think they can pencil you in, the Escape Brides should be able to tell you for sure.

My BFF's parent's renewed their vows for their 25th anniversary too! They did it in the basement of their church. They had the ceremony and a party afterwards with catered food. It wasn't anything super fancy but it was a lot of fun. All the kids were part of the "wedding party", and my BFF and her sister got special dresses for it, so you can definitely have your daughter involved.

You don't have to have a reception, it just depends on what you want. Some people are having huge VR's and some are just having something low key with a few people. Either way, its whatever you want!

Contact DFTW, although depending on how many months in advance, you might be able to book or if not other people could have been "penciled in".

As far as MOH and receptions- i think it's whatever you want it to be! Some people definitely have MOHs and several people have used their children, and a lot of people have receptions, especially dessert parties.
