We are thinking of going snow skiing for spring break (March 13th). We will be driving from North Texas. I would prefer a smaller resort. Any suggestions?

Jackson Hole Mountain resort. It is good for beginners and experts alike. Go big or go home! It is a huge mountain but good for everyone.

Snowbasin, great mountain, superb restaurants and lodges.

Winter Park, CO....easy drive from Denver. We are getting record snowfalls in the mountains this year...lots of powder!

Jill in CO

Red River NM. Should be a short drive for u. The town is really small and wonderful for families. If your kids have never skied before it is really nice. The mountain is full of greens and blues! We have been several times and love it!!!!:thumbsup2

Come to Snowshoe Mtn. in West Virginia - it's a great resort are offering some Spring Break promotions.

It's on of the best Ski Resorts in the East - and one of the most reasonably priced as well.

It's an Intrawest Resort.

I wish we could go to Jackson Hole or Snowshoe! Too much of a drive for a short trip but we are thinking of Jackson Hole for the summer trip.

Have you ever gone spring break? What are the crowds and conditions like.
The kids have skiied several times but in upstate NY where it is more hills than mountains. (Easier to keep an eye on them.)
