Where to see Monsters Inc./Toy Story

Do the monsters inc characters appear anywhere in the parks? If so where? My ds loves that movie.

Where is buzz lightyear and woody??

Let's see....

We saw Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc at Disney Studios, walking along where the ABC Commissary is, heading to see Muppetvision.

We saw Buzz and Woody at the Studios as well at Al's Toy Barn. We also saw Buzz and Jessie and Bullseys in MK. Buzz was at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland, and Jessie and Bullseye were in Frontierland, in a little alcove meet and greet area right in front of the river.

Just got back from WDW and I spotted Woody, Buzz, and Jessie at Al's Toy Barn. The lines there are very long and, from the looks of it, the location now has FastPass. There's a table over near the area between MuppetVision and Star Tours where a CM was giving out times to return to Al's Toy Barn to meet the characters. It looked like the Stand-by lines looked just as long as the FastPass line though so it was hard to tell which way was the way to go. Buzz also was appearing in Tomorrowland across from Alien Encounter (near where Timekeeper use to be).

Didn't see Mike and Sully, but they apparently were out across from the ABC Commisary as usual. There's a sign in front of the location that says when the characters would be out. They were about to start their set a few minutes after I went past this, but didn't have time to see them since I had a lunch reservation.

We were at MGM a month ago and saw Buzz, Woody, and Jessie at Al's Toy Barn. If you check the daily schedule on the map, it will tell you what time the characters will appear. Plan on going at the beginning time. We were in line when it started raining and everybody in line left. Apparently they can't come out in the rain. We went to around the corner to Pizza Planet and shortly after it stopped raining Buzz and Woody appeared at Al's. It was the highlight of my 3 year old's trip!!

Buzz and Woody and Jessie popped up outside Al's Toy Barn at 10:30 one morning. (They were scheduled almost every morning, from what I could tell...) There were only about five or six people in line, and I got my picture snapped, pronto. So if you REALLY want a shot, get there a few minutes early and you shouldn't have a problem.

Likewise, after that little adventure, I walked a few feet away and saw Miss Piggy posing outside the Muppet Theater. I had my picture taken with her, too! (I am SUCH a character geek...)

Meanwhile, Mike and Sully are, as mentioned, right across from the ABC Commissary, in their own little nook, at various times throughout the day. A Disney photographer will snap a picture that you can pick up and buy later near the park entrance. I don't know if they let you snap your own shots, though.

I know you didn't specifically mention the army men from Toy Story, but we were at early opening at MGM (May) and there were at least 1/2 doz of them on the way to RRC. My 7 yr old was flipping out as 4 of them ran right up to him and one handed his "gun" to him and mom snapped an awesome picture!!!
