Where to see Illuminations or Wishes

Can anyone please tell me, if you are staying on site, where is the best place to see Illuminations at Epcot and Wishes at MK, without being in the actual park? Maybe at a specific resort? Thanks very much.

Wishes--You can see this from any of the monorail resorts (Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Polynesian). Our favorite is from the beach of the Poly or the outside deck of the California Grill (top floor of the Contemporary).

Illuminations--This one is a little more difficult. Illuminations is designed to be watched around the World Showcase Lagoon. The only thing you will be able to see from outside of Epcot is the higher fireworks. Having said that, you can see these fireworks from the bridge between the Beach Club and the Boardwalk or various spots around Crescent Lake (the Epcot resort area).

I noticed that you can see Wishes pretty well from the dock at the Ticket & Transportation Center.

You can see Illuminations from the Martinique area or Old Port Royale at CBR. But just the high fireworks of course.
