We've decided to do something we have never done and go to Disney for Thanksgiving. I'd hate to get there and not have anywhere to have Thanksgiving dinner....so where do you recommend?

We are a family of 4...with my parents going with us. Kids are 10 and 12. We'd prefer nothing too pricey, but I understand that of course it's not going to be cheap.

Epcot is our favorite park -- anywhere there? I have to call and make an ADR quick!

Thank you!

We are also going to be at Epcot on Thanksgiving day. Also looking for somewhere to eat the traditional meal. I've been researching and it looks like maybe Garden Grill is a good one? La Cellier looks a little too fancy for our tastes (have a 6 yold and 9 year old). We really just want to try to stay out of the biggest crowds.

We are also going to be there on Thanksgiving. Allears has the 2010 Thanksgiving meals- a lot of the restaurants are serving a traditional meal, not just LTT. Past threads have said that the best meal is at the Gaylord, but that's too fancy and $$$ for our kids. Since that's at the end of our stay, I'm going to try to get WCC because we won't have Park Hoppers and I don't know which park we'll want to revisit that day. Hopefully the WL will have some Christmas decorations up. :)

We had a great Thanksgiving meal at Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness last year. It was also relatively cheap for Disney dining.

We are arriving on Thanksgiving Day and have been looking into to this as well. Thanks OP!

Here are some links to some good articles/places:

From the Disney Food Blog, which I love:

Here from Dis

If you click on each the resturants it will give you the menu.

Here is from Allears, a pretty good list as well:

We are leaning towards Raglan Road, my husband really gets into our Irish heritage and we will not be in a park on this day.

Good Luck Deciding and Have A Wondful Trip!!! :cool1:

We did Garden Grill last Thanksgiving Day and were very happy. 10 of us went with 6 kids ranging in age from 5 to 13 and all did well - even the picky eaters. The dinner was served family style, included your Thanksgiving favorites and special dessert for the kids. Characters too! I would go again.

We ate at Boma on Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. It was very good! They had the normal Boma buffet plus traditional Thanksgiving food (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes). My husband wasn't too keen on trying Boma so this was perfect for us since he knew he had comfort food available too!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Cape May last year. They had their usual buffet plus traditional Tgiving dinner. I know that Captain's Grille had a traditional meal buffet that received good reviews.
Most of the restaurants serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, some with their usual menu mixed in. I do not know what the Epcot world restaurants do.
