I know this may sound like an odd question to some but where should we request our table be? By the wall, in the center, near the entrance?
We aren't big on being right next to the speakers or thekitchen.
Where did you like to be?
One night, me and my family were at Ohana. I was about to ask my dad if he could ask the girl/boy if we could get a view that I could see the castle.
As soon as I got to our table and sat down I realized before my dad even asked, I was staring right at the Cinderella Castle! It was amazing! Soon they played the music from the fireworks show Wishes, and I got a amazing view of the fireworks! Next time your at Ohana ask for a view of the Cinderella Castle!
P.S. I had a truly magical night there and I hope you do to!
I'm not really sure if that's do-able. There are no speakers to worry about in the resturaunts. I suppose you could ask at Guest Services when you get on the ship.
If you go to rockin bar D as soon as you board, you will be able to find out where your table is and to ask for any changes...it may not be possible but your head server will be in the room and you can ask for what you want.

They didn't ask us where we wanted to be. The only thing they asked us was did we want to be by ourselves (we're just 3) or in a group. So I said in a group because I knew we'd have all of our evening meals with the same group & I wanted to get to know some other people. We're just the 3 of us all year long (boring). Anyway, we were really pleased with our table arrangements. They really seemed to have put some thought into it! We ended up at a large table for 15 (the largest in the entire room) and it was always in the center regardless of which restaurant we had for the evening. Anyway, all of the other people at our table were also families of 3 and all of the kids were in the 8-9 age range (same as our DS). It was perfect. Then everybody sort of took turns sitting next to or across from different people ea. nite so we all had a chance to talk & mingle. The kids would finish eating & usually go to the kids club & the adults stayed & talked for awhile over coffee. It was very nice & everybody exchanged email addresses on the last day & sent photos later that were taken at dinner.
I think somebody has an interesting job - seating similar / compatible groups of people with each other like that - they did an amazing job! I would just take what you get & not worry about asking for something in particular...
