Where to request in POR??

We are going down at Thankgiving-There will be 13 of us-my FIL has knee problems. I am pretty sure we will be in Alligator Bayou--which buildings are close to bus stops.

Check out this site, there is a map of POR here, and you'll be able to see which buildings in AB to request(14 and 15 are close, but probably frequently requested). Keep in mind that there are no elevators in AB, an issue with bad knees and or small kids that need to be toted up and down stairs-especially if you have your own stroller. The mansions all do have elevators. You'll just need to request ground floor rooms in AB, at least for your FIL. If you have reserved rooms that will be holding parties of 5, then I too would suspect you'll be in AB. But, if your groups are 4 or less, you could end up in the Mansions.

If you don't want to take a chance getting a second floor room, I would definately ask to be in the mansions, since they all have elevators.

However, the PP stated, if you are party of 5 per room, you would have to stay in AB - and you will have to request a first floor room, and hope they can accommodate - remember T-giving week it is very crowded and POR is one of the more popular moderates, so they might not be able to guarantee any requests.....

call disney and tell them you have a medical isuue that requires first floor and you should get it
