Where to put luggage for the day after disembarking in Vancouver?

Our flight is scheduled for 10 pm on the day of our Alaska cruise disembarkation in Vancouver. I suppose we can do some sightseeing that day, but need someplace to put our luggage. Are there hotels near the cruise ship terminal that offer a day rate? We have a group of 13.

• some choose Post cruise tours that take your luggage with you. Afterwards, they will drop you with luggage at hotels (or airport)
• cruise terminal will hold luggage for $8 for the day ($7 for carry-on). They are open until 4pm.
• cruise terminal can transfer up to 4 pieces of luggage for $40 to airport ($10 for additional bag).

We used the luggage service right at the cruise terminal. There was a fee but it was not outrageous compared to the convenience of not having to lug our bags around until our late flight. They even transferred the luggage to the airport where we met up with it before checking in at airport. Very nice service.

MJ can you post more info about luggage storage at cruise terminal. we are staying at Pan post cruise but have to book it to make Breakfast with Bears at Grouse Mtn on debarkation. Would like to drop my luggage and RUN! How fast was process? Any chance I can pre-book and pay to speed along?

As you are staying at the Pan.... I recommend calling the Pan Pacific to see what can be done to store your luggage when you come out of the cruise terminal.

That cruise terminal luggage storage service can have long lines... I would quickly take your luggage past the buses and then take the elevator up to the Pan Pacific lobby for staff to store your luggage.... possibly delivered to your room when it's ready.

Hmm... you have a super tight timeline... What time do you have to be at Grouse parking lot? What time do you have to be at the top? What time is your meal? This timeline may not be realistic.

• 7:30am first walkoff
• 7:50am at Pan Pacific/cruise terminal luggage
• 8am taxi (lines outside Pan Pacific or Waterfront Hotel may be shorter than inside cruise terminal)
• 8:30 at Grouse Mountain (takes 30 minutes to get from Pan Pacific to Grouse Mountain). Is 8:30 when you need to be at the parking lot or at the top with the bears?
• 8:50 top of Grouse
• 9am meet the Bears
