Where to park or take the bus?

On our 1st day at Disney we are thinking of starting off with breakfast at Chef Mickey's and ending with the Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruise. We are driving to Orlando and staying at AoA. Would you drive and park at the Contemporary or take the bus? Will they let us park at the Contemporary all day or will we have to park in the MK lot? This is our first trip to Disney. TIA!

You can park at the CR all day if you pay to valet park there, otherwise you will have to move your car to the main MK parking lot after breakfast.
If you drive and park in the MK lot, take the resort monorail from the TTC to the CR it will be the fourth stop and take about 20-25 minutes.
If you take the bus to MK you can walk across the street to the CR, takes about 10 minutes. It's not worth taking the monorail from the MK to the CR, walking will be faster.
