Where to hang out in DTD in the evening??

After we arrive Monday night and have dinner at Goofy's I plan to go back to the hotel, BWPPI, get my boys to sleep and leave them with my dad. One of my really good friends lives in the LA area and we want to get together. We haven't seen eachother in almost 10 years. I want to be rested for the next day in the park with two young kids, but I also want to have fun and catch up in person with my friend. Would you recommend DTD? If so where are the "it" places to hang out. It will be a Monday night, is there a great nightlife that early in the week? Or should we go offsite?

I have a few girlfriends in SoCal and we always meet up one night, too. We always start with dinnner with our families at Rainforrest Cafe, then we ditch them so they can go back to the rooms (see ya!) and we go to the Uva bar. Great people watching. Then we move to the Lost Bar.

I second the UVA bar. It's a pretty cool place. There's always House of Blues, but probably a little too noisy for catching up.
