We're leaving on 3/5 for a 7-night stay at the All Star Movies... DH loves coffee in the AM, and we're planning on having cereal most AMs in the room to save on $$$... Any suggestions on where to get a travel coffee maker? And how much do they cost?

I think that any 4-cup coffee maker would do the trick. Check Target and Walmart for them. You can get a little percolator for about $15 or a drip brew coffee maker for around $20.

For $12 you can buy the refillable mug. DH can get as much coffee as he wants in the morning and you can use it for soda's throughout you stay too. We stayed at ASmu last November and we got one mug, but we all used it. Was well worth the money.

My mother and father came for a visit in November. Since no one at my home drinks coffee, I was scrambling to find a cheap coffee maker. Dollar General had a 4 pot maker for $7. Check there. And if you break the carafe or don't want to take it home, big deal....it's only $7. And the mug at the resorts is a good option too, but if your DH was like my mom, there's no setting foot outside the room until 1 or 2 cups of coffee was consumed!

I brought a hot pot for boiling water, a mug, a #2 plastic filter cone (just fits on the top of the mug), and #2 filter papers. I brought a small bag of ground coffee. Then I can drip one cup of coffee into my mug. It's best to preheat the mug with a bit of hot water.

The hot pot is useful for water for my husband's tea, instant oatmeal for quick breakfasts, and instant soups for the kids when they get hungry at odd times.

I read also that coffee makers are available in all rooms, but that might be for a specific resort. I found a Super Target and a WalMart SuperCenter not more than 15 minutes from WDW entrance. If you have transportation I think it would be cost-effective to just buy a cheap coffee maker there, instead of lugging one to WDW.

Black & Decker Cup at a time, its small and makes One cup At a Time!

I read that the refrigerators & coffee makers were in the moderates and deeeluxes. How about Gevalia?
