Where to get discount park hopper tickets?

Because that's when they expire! The tickets are valid for use from 9/30 to 10/13 so you have to use them between those dates and no others. They expire on 10/13. What part of that is confusing to you? You plan to use the tickets starting 10/11, which falls between those days, and end on, what? the 13th? The only problem you should have is if you want to use the tickets on the 14th.

Let me add that I don't know anything about using these tickets past the 13th or 14th. I know on the website it says 10/14, the tickets say 10/13 and that bluegrizzlies had a bunch of information about what day you start on...All I want to address right now is that the information that the tickets can only be used starting on 9/30 is incorrect.
This has caused me a bunch of un-needed stress and really sent me reeling when I thought I was out almost $1000.

When you purchase tickets through GAT you give them your email and they send you a confirmation that you print out and take to the parks. All you need when at the gates

There have been many posts from people who have used GAT vouchers for tickets, and they are unanimous in that they cannot be used at the actual park entrance gates. The tickets are to be picked up at ticket booths, or perhaps at guest services.

Thanks I changed it. I meant at the ticket booths. You need to get your tickets before you go to the main gates to try and get in.

We do plan to be there on the 14th. Furthermore, Guest Services told me very clearly that we must start using the tickets before 9/30. The tickets cannot be redeemed after that.

I used the link posted in this thread. Here it the link: http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/Tic...&drnid=1410544.

Right now it sounds like we bought our tickets through different means, because mine clearly aren't going to be good for the dates I am going to Disneyland.

I hope the day you show up yours are still honored. I was just bringing up the information given to me directly from Guest Services as well as the information printed directly on the tickets I received through the link above. That link clearly says:

"Valid for the number of days on ticket for three (3) days prior to specified convention date for a total of 14 consecutive day period. Dates vary according to convention."

This seems to indicate both my tickets and Guest Services are correct. 3 days prior to the convention is 9/30. 14 days inclusive of that is 10/13.

I hope my tickets get refunded.

What you are saying doesn't make any sense. You claim the tickets must be used on 9/30 or they expire, correct? Then why would they say "for a total of 14 consecutive days?" There is no such thing as a 14-day park hopper. The biggest park hopper you can buy is a 5 or 6 day. 5 day off the Disney website. So that would make the last day possible you could use the pass would be 10/4 or 10/5. Why would they put 10/13 on the tickets if the first and only day you could use them is 9/30. I'm starting a new thread on this because I HAVE to get to the bottom of this...

I am saying that the 14 day consecutive window must start on or before 9/30. This means that if you waited until the last day (9/30), that your park hopper tickets must be used before 10/14. Example: If you bought a 5 day park hopper you must visit the park for day 1 on or before 9/30. Let's assume you waited until the last valid day and went on 9/30. You would then have through 10/13 to use the other 4 days of your park hopper.

Again, the direct quote from the website (which was reiterated by Guest Services) is: "Valid for the number of days on ticket for three (3) days prior to specified convention date for a total of 14 consecutive day period. Dates vary according to convention."

Too bad I didn't know all of this before i bought the tickets. You may be fine though. It sounds like your tickets are different than mine.

I am saying that Disney needs to write much more clearly as to the dates of validity of all kinds of tickets.

So the 30,000 people who are going to Gay Days on October 3, 4 and 5 all have to come to the park on Tuesday, September 30 just so their tickets work that weekend?

I would not think so, god I would hope not, for that would most definitely make for one crowded park, EEK!

Farmboy: call back guest services and ask to speak to a supervisor. I can just about guarantee you that the information that your original guest services CM gave you is incorrect. This would not be a first. Guest services CMs are famous for getting their info wrong. They do their best, and I've talked some wonderful helpful people on there, but don't base your worries on one call. I hope they can help you out! Usually Disney is pretty good about trying to make things right. If you call, talk politely but in a concerned manner to a supervisor, and explain that you found very confusing information on the website concerning this, maybe they can reissue your tickets to be valid for the dates you want. I hope so!

If you don't get the response you need, I would take it up the ladder to the next level. Keep asking to talk to their superiors until you get what you need. Be polite but firm. Good luck! :goodvibes

I just called them they are valid between 9-30-08 to 10-14-08.

BUT if you plan on going after the 14th your FIRST DAY has to be on the 14th you have 13 days after that to use the remaining days.

So what this means is you have to use your 1ST day between 9-30-08 to 10-14-08.

Now what ever day you start your first day on you have 13 days after that to use the rest of your tickets up.

It is the same rules as a reg parkhopper ticket everyone understand now :goodvibes

GAT sells 8 day park hoppers. Is that the only place you can get the 8 days?

Soooo, since the convention date is 9/30/08, I shouldn't have a problem using these tickets 10/2-10/6 right?

If you're using the Gay Days ticket link, that convention isn't actually until Oct 3-5, so you'll be especially OK using the tix. :)

I hope no one runs into the problem I am having. I am trying to get a refund right now for the tickets we bought. It turns out they won't work as expected. The tickets MUST be used on 9/30/2008 or they will expire. If you bought park hopper tickets, then the remaining days must be used within 13 days of 9/30, but you must START the visit on 9/30.

We aren't going to be there until 10/11, so the tickets we bought are useless.

I was told to email Ticketinquiries@DisneyOnline.com to ask for a refund.

Could you have *received* different tickets from their error, which might explain what appears to be different wording on your tickets? Because if you bought them through the link from bluegrizzlies, that's the store that the gaydays link takes you to. Exactly the same pictures, prices, info. Same link. So if your tix appear to be physically different than the others' tix, it sounds like you were sent the wrong ones.

Because since the event doesn't even start until the 3rd, and there are people who fly out from all over the place specifically FOR this event, and those people buy their tix from that link, it makes absolutely NO sense that they would want people to show up days in advance to start using them.

Someone in GR doesn't understand, or you were sent the wrong tickets.

So why did you call them anyway?
