As some of you already know, we are having a blessing type ceremony and reception at home in the UK, but I'm wondering the best place to get invitations that are custom made to explain this.
We can't use a standard wedding invitation as we'll already be married, and it's not just an evening reception either.

Anyone have any ideas for companies that make custom invites (that are based in / will ship to the UK) that aren't overly expensive?

I know there is always the option of making our own too, but I wouldn't know where to start with finding design materials either, and it would be nice to have someone else make them if possible, although I won't rule out the DIY method completely!

We'll have 100-125 guests, the chepest price range for this amount of cards seems to be around £120-£140 from my research....

I like www.weddingpaperdivas.com

The invitations they show can be totally customized to say what you want. They show them set up like regular invitations but when you personalize them you can put anything you want. They do ship internationally, here is their international shipping policy:

International and Special Delivery Addresses:
International and special delivery addresses (e.g., APO) are shipped via UPS, FedEx or USPS. You will have the option to choose the level of service available in your region. For customers that have the option for Worldwide Express Delivery, you will receive your order within 2-3 business days in most all cases. For Worldwide Expedited Delivery, you will receive your order within 5-6 business days in most all cases as well.

Once your international order ships, you will receive an email confirmation containing the tracking number so that you can track the progress of your shipment and your expected delivery date to make proper arrangements.

*Please note that Wedding Paper Divas is not responsible for any international customs and duties that may be imposed on orders shipped to different countries. Our experience is that most countries do not impose any special taxes on paper and stationery items, but to be certain, please check with your local customs office about rules and regulations.

They are pretty reasonable with their prices and they have really cute designs.

Thanks for these girls!

I just thought, do I put my married name on the at home reception invites or my maiden name still?
They'll get posted out a long time before we tie the knot, so I suppose maiden name? I just suddenly wondered! :lmao:

Toni,
These do look a reasonable cost and can be totally personalised which is fab :thumbsup2 I'll have to have a good browse through the designs...

Sarah,
They're so pretty but I think this company might be a tad more expensive then I'm hoping for, I'm trying to keep them as cheap as possible really, but without looking tacky, we don't want to spend too much money on the at home do if we can help it.

Any more suggestions anyone??
