Where to find best Hershey Park ticket prices?

I'm tossing around birthday party ideas with a friend for her soon-to-be 9 year old daughter. We're thinking a day at Hershey park would be a fun idea, letting her daughter invite 3 friends. I'm a AAA member, so I know I can get a few bucks off through them ($2 kids and $9 adults - we'll be going the weekend BEFORE her bday, so the kids will still qualify for the cheaper tix). Does anyone else offer a better discount?

don't you have to be a guest there to get that price?
I looked into Hershey hotel prices....the Lodge was out of our budget for a quick weekend trip.

we were not guests. Dh parked in parking lot i walked into hotel asked where i could buy tickets they directed me and i purchased. That was it. They didnt even ask if i was a guest. we then drove to park and enjoyed our day.
