Staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort in June. Where can anyone suggest to eat that’s good and not too hard to get to from the Boardwalk Resort? Older folks with our 3 year old grandchild.

A very open-ended question. What type of food do you want? Price range? Do you want to sit down or do something faster?

price doesn’t matter
sit down and quick service
steak
pizza
burgers
chicken fingers
seafood

The best steaks on property are at Shula's at the Dolphin resort which is an easy walk from the Boardwalk, or, you can take the boat. For burgers, Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club is good. When you’re standing in front of the Boardwalk, the Beach Club is right across the lake. it’s an easy walk, or you can take the boat.

What's great about the Epcot area resorts, is that they are all a short walk from each other. All of the restaurants in the area can be fair game unless there are covid restrictions, and if you will have hoppers, World Showcase is just a quick stroll away, as well. Hollywood is walkable or boatable, too. From what you've written about what you'd like, I'd suggest checking out the places at Swan & Dolphin just for a start, but there's a lot more. You might be able to search in MDE for restaurants by "Epcot Area."

Epcot is also in walking distance and has plenty of great options. I will only advise against the pizza window on the boardwalk; it's cheap theme-park pizza.

I guess I was thinking Boardwalk villas would have a quick service on site.
we like to eat too often I guess😤

They do have quick service, the bakery has a variety of things although their menu is a little limited right now. They also have the pizza window and you can pick up convenience store style groceries in the Screen Door store. What they don’t have is anything like the quick service food court style you would find at the moderates or values.

From your list, I would consider Big River Grille. It was closed, but have read that it reopened. In the past, had a menu that fits your list, haven't seen a menu since it reopened. Its right on the Boardwalk. The bakery is also good.

From what I read the Pizza window is open (yes it is an actual window) next to the Bakery. The pizza is very good it is NOT Disney Pizza. Be warned however the large pie is 6 slices not 8 but well worth the price by Disney standards. For burgers at Disney owned I suggest either any Sitdown that is open or a CS at a resort as they make them fresh which makes all the difference. Big River is supposed to open I believe now or very soon it is not Disney owned you can look at the menu and reviews by searching the name. You can also walk to swan and Dolphin and see what CS they have open most of Sit downs there may not be suitable for a 3YO as they are longer higher end or what Disney would consider Signiture take a look before. Only you know your grandchild so a long meal may or may not work. I would strongly suggest taking the Bus to Disney Springs for better and more available food right now. I will warn the CS at the BW (all),BC,YC is eat outside or bring back to your room there was very little seating at or near a QS before Covid.....and the menus have always been very limited. The Bakery also has a few items but not what you list. YC also has a Sitdown that seems to easy to get a table at however I am not sure what is open or even if the YC resort is open. if all else falls the Screen door shop sells Microwave food as well as some cold cuts and basics... a microwave pizza or hot pocket just may be the bomb for a 3YO...... if you are staying in a 1BR or 2BR with a full kitchen you can order from a grocery store... not ideal on vacation but.........

Your trip sounds like a quick weekend trip... since you don’t have plans for Disney Springs or theme parks.
I recommend studying the online menus for Big RiverGrille , BW Bakery Beaches & Cream and Trattoria. Also recommend noting their open/ close and what is considered breakfast, lunch, dinner serving hours.
If this is a short visit w/ grandchild you will probably be able to make plans. And a quick walk to the Epcot SkyLiner loading station or jump on the boat transportation do not require payment to enjoy.
P.s. I have heard great things about the breakfast at Trattoria.

After looking at menus we will defiantly try the Boardwalk bakery, Beaches and cream, Trattoria for sure
We may try Shulas too
