I am looking for ideas on where to dine and what to do our last night at WDW. It will be my b-day and DS will be just a couple of days shy of his 3rd b-day. I'd like it to be nice but kid-friendly,too. I was thinking we could do the Boardwalk or something after dinner.

Any suggestions??

So far for dinner we've chosen:

Boma
Whispering Canyon
Ohana
Kona
Brown Derby (Fantasmic or Osborne Lights)
Le Cellier (hoping to see Candlelight Processional)

Help, I need one more for our last night! We haven't been to WDW since our honeymoon in 1997 and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with the planning!
Thanks so much!!!

Hrmm.. my first thought was Citricos over at the Grand Floridian; however, if you are wanting to hang out on the Boardwalk after dinner, perhaps the Flying Fish.

I was going to suggest some place on the Boardwalk, too! I see you don't have any meals in that area.

We love both Flying Fish and Spoodles.

Thanks! I really want to try Citricos but not sure if it's too nice to bring DS. We dine out quite a bit, and he's usually well behaved. However, it's a crapshoot with a child of his age! Maybe Spoodles is our best bet.

We really liked Spoodles and noticed lots of families there. I really liked the atmosphere of the Boardwalk so I think that would be a good choice.

If you have a park hopper or will be at Epcot that day I would definitely look into dining in the World Showcase. We just had dinner at the Rose & Crown Pub last week on the night of my best friend's birthday. We had a 7:30 reservation and were just starting dessert when Illuminations began. You have to ask the host/hostess directly and they don't promise it, but due to our birthday they were able to give us a FANTASTIC table with a view of the water and a front row seat for my most favorite fireworks in all of WDW.

Oh, and the food was great (smile). I had the steak and it was great, it was a bit more cooked than I'd asked for but it was an incredibly tender cut so it was okay. I spied some kids plates and they looked good too.

Not on the Boardwalk, but what about Coral Reef? The fish tank would probably be entertaining for your son, and apparently it's a pretty nice restaurant.
