I'm going to be making some "movie baskets" (after reading about them on this board). Does anybody know where I can buy the movie size candies? Thanks!
Target also sells the movie size candy over in the candy section.
Walgreens and your local grocery store may sell it in the candy section. Usually on the top shelves!
Target has a great selection, and they're often on sale.
I saw the baskets at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They were charging $15 here and all it was was a large plastic bucket, with 3 items on top (micro popcorn, Raisinettes, and somethign else) shrink wrapped together. You can do a lot better on your own!
I'm doing baskets like that too! Target carries movie size candy (and for a lot less than what they charge AT the movies!). They should be in the same aisle as all the bagged candy.
Our Super Walmart has them too. Less than a $1 each.
I did a Family night kit for my sister-in-law and her family a few Christmas's ago too. I threw in a bunch of the "movie" candy, popcorn, 2 2-liter bottles of soda, a Blockbuster gift card and a gift card to a local sandwhich shop (for dinner). I thought it was a cute idea, but I am not sure how much of the candy made it to the family night or if they ever had a family night!
