Where to buy checks from

So where do y'all buy your bank checks from?

I just opened a new acct. for my AVON business and decided not to order checks from the bank since the fee would be $18-20.00 too high. I know there are lots of places but which are the best? I do plan on using online banking most of the time but want the checks if i need them for something.

So where should I look?

I don't do walmart. I like the checksinthemail.com site. Just 1 question though, since this is a brand new acct. and I did not order checks for the bank when i opened it this afternoon, just how do i get the routing number to order from someplace else?

SAMs Club here too. Did the research and pricing and found them the best.

I use Checks Unlimited. We so seldom write checks anymore that they last a very long time.

I don't actually plan on writing checks very often myself. But i will need them to sign up for online billpay with AVON, and in case of emergencies.

I like the Checksunlimited site but the shipping time didn't thrill me. Checksinthemail promises faster shipping and i like their prices a little better.

I'm sure you can call them and get it from them.

I just reordered checks - our credit union charged us $28 for ONE BOX of Disney checks. After that I said no more. For the other checking account I ordered from Walmartchecks.com for $13 for one box of design duplicates - shipped. I hate Wal-Mart but will use their check service gladly. Easy, quick, multiple update emails, etc.

I print my own using VersaCheck. What's great is I use Microsoft Money - I check off print check and Money fills the check in too. All I need to do is sign it. I paid about 14.99 for 2000 checks. The program was 9.99.

Did you get a few starter checks and deposit slips? If so, you get the numbers off those.

I haven gotten mine from Walmart, but be careful. Last time I tried to order there was some kind of issue with the site and my order didn't go through but yet they did charge my checking account for the checks. Took forever to get that straightened out.

Cograts on choosing Avon! I sell Avon too. Not really making anything but its nice to get all my and dd's products free (well, not free but from my profits). I am even starting on a few Christmas gifts!

Has anyone used Costco with the free shipping method? I just worry because the $7.00 says secure/trackable.

Yes you have to be a member to order from Costco. Executive members get a bigger percentage discount.

I used the free shipping method with no issues. I believe I had my checks within a week or so.
