Where to buy cheap cute socks?

DSD 11 is asking for socks for Christmas. I am assuming she doesn't want plain white but she is not into the mismatching socks either. So where is a good place to get cute but cheap socks? I am going to try 5 Below when I get a chance but looking for other suggestions too.

My dd has been wearing mismatched socks for years and I get them for her at Big Lots. I haven't seen them sell mismatched sets but I just get a couple packs of coordinating patterns and she just mismatches them herself.
Having said that, the last time we went to Orlando dd went crazy in the Little Mismatched store and got tons of socks. They weren't cheap, but there is no comparison in quality.

Target carries lots of cute socks! They have lots of neat stripe color combinations usually, and stars, little animals, etc. Last year there was a super adorable pair that had little squirrels on them! I wanted them so bad for myself. LOL They have some socks on the display racks and also some in little bins if I remember correctly. I do remember the squirrel ones (and lots of others) were I think either $1 or $2.

the target ones do not hold up well. i found they shrunk a lot and got reallly pilly and gross quickly. i bought a few on clearance for .50 - .75.

i second tjmaxx or marshalls since you can get better brands for cheap. i love betsey johnson, i have no socks but i have tights and sleepwear and it has all held up really well.

My DD in college likes the target ones and she has had no problem with the quality and they have been washed and dried in dorm machines!

Whenever I send a care package I usually tuck a pair or two in.

If she likes colourful socks, Claire often has them on at the back of their store, in their 10 items for $10.00 sale. They are the most comfortable socks I've worn in a long time. If you don't see any, just ask. Quite often they have some for sale but not on display.

i also have a few cute ones that have held up well that i got at a jcrew outlet. they always have fun patterns and i love the quality of them.

I can get the at Boscovs for a cheep price! Yesterday was the lasy day of the current promotion and they had fashion knee highs and regular length socks for 69 cents. They also had mens dress socks for 99 cents and I got a pair of purple and blue argyle socks!

We just bought some really cute ankle socks from Academy Sports. They have really cute ones. Sometimes we find cute ones at Target as well.

I buy my gym socks from the dollar section(usually holiday/ recent movies) or from the sock section dollar display(just different colors and designs) at target. I've never had a problem with their quality they last aslong as other socks do.

The only Justice socks I would buy are the dream soft cuddly ones. I bought some of the no show and toe socks and they shrank and didn't last. They all had holes in them very quickly.

I hate walmart but stopped in there for cheap socks for dd and was very surprised at the quality. I got her some really cute ones with animals and fun colors and they were about $5 a pack. I bought them a few months ago when school started and they have lasted longer than the justice ones.

I was just at our local goodwill store over the weekend and they had tons of crazy socks that were brand new for a $1.00 each. It was a great deal.
