Where to buy a Sari?

There are so many places online to buy a Sari and the jewelry/hair piece. I wanted to know if anyone had any places to suggest? I've decided to wear it to our Animal Kingdom Photo Shoot.

Congratulations about your Disney wedding and your Animal Kingdom event!

My fiance and I almost selected an AK venue too! However, Disney was offering us Tusker House as a rain back-up, which was a little informal for our event, so we are going with another plan. It's a cool idea to wear an Indian outfit in AK.

The best place to buy a sari is India. That's not always an option.

If you live near Chicago, or can fly in to visit, I would recommend some of the Indian stores on Devon Avenue! It's like a Little India, the biggest street of shops of its kind in the US. I know a lot of Indian women who couldn't take a trip to India before their weddings, and they had no alternative but to select their outfits on Devon Avenue.

Try to research the quality of fabrics and your price range before stepping into Indian stores.

If you go the online route, try to read up all you can about the company to ensure that they are legit and can offer customer satisfaction. You might have to pay customs fees or higher shipping rates if they are located in India. Good luck!

I'm not sure where you live, but Sari Palace in Berkeley, CA was very helpful and had a nice selection.
