Where to buy a resale?

My understanding is dvcbyresale and timesharestore are the principal sites. Also, the tugboards list some properties. I looked around and didn't see any serious listings at other sites. It seems the two primary sites have the listings. Does anybody know of other sources of listings?

Jaki was very helpful, but I ended up purchasing through my 'unofficial' DVC guide...Shontell at www.DVCByResale.com

Best word of advice is that if you don't see something on those sites right away that you like/need, then send them an e-mail or call them and get on their calling lists. I wouldn't have found my deal if it wasn't for the fact that Shontell called me (while on a mini-vacation) and we agreed then and there before she even posted it on the website.

I too recommend Shontell Crawford at DVCresales. E-mail her at info@TimesharesByResale.com and tell her what you are looking for and she will let you know when she gets a contract similar to that. She herself owns at DVC so knows everything about it. We've bought three contracts from her and think she is really good.

We just bought new from Disney after a very discouraging experience with Jerry at the Timeshare Store.

However I had a long conversation with Jaki and if we had to sell now, we'd list with her. She was very straight forward with me and seemed to be very honest, including complimenting the timeshare store, her "competitor."

2) All brokers are licensed.
3) Some may give better service than others.
4) But the bottom line is still bucks.

Just bought at Lee Reid Realty located in Orlando. He had the best price , it passed disney. And I am waiting on closing. Only problem he is slow at calling you back. But emails seem to be quick. If he does call you back, he is very friendly and answers all questions............
