Where to buy a Fannypack (Waist Pack)

Not even sure what to call it anymore. It's a pouch you wear around your waist to carry wallet, camera, keys, etc. DH and I both wear these when we go to WDW. Mine is starting to tear from repeated trips and I want to get a new one for our March trip. I really like the one I have b/c it has several pockets and compartments, but I don't even remember where we got it. I'd also like to get a Disney one if possible. I tried Disney Direct w/ no luck. Do they have these at DTD or in the parks that I could get one when we get there?

ONe year after sending DD on a field trip with mine, I couldn't find it when it was time to pack for WDW. So, I was "forced" to buy one there. It's a rather attractive black nylon with embroidery onthe outside pocket. Nice adjustable straps, buckle clip three sections, the whole nine yards and easy to find ALL over property.

Now, nobody touches mommy's fanny pack.

There is an outside stand at DTD that has nice leather ones. My husband has gotten one from there (doesn't have any Disney stuff on it). About a year later on another trip he had a problem with the buckle and took it back there and they fixed it for him, no charge. I got a Disney one at one of the stores at MGM several years ago, but they are in many stores at the parks and resorts.

I have one from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It's got to be 8 years old. Going to look for a Disney one this trip, fp's are the best!

We got new ones in the sale at Ocean Pacific last summer - I'll have to carry youngest DS stuff as he's too small for my old pack to fit him - probably will get him one of his own onsite in a kids size - if they do them

If you are like me and need to have everything planned and bought before you go and dont mind it being without characters I have 2 suggestions. Target and Kmart. WDW trip obsessive as I am I just got 2. The Target one was in the sports section and has two water bottles and holders on it. Very good size for everything. it was $7.99

Got one from Kmart yesterday. In both the sports section and the purse section.They have several different ones available from small to large. The small-medium ones were $5.99- nice different colors sturdy. The one I got was med- large and the compartments are heavily insulated so if I want to travel light with no cooler/backpack I can throw some frozen juiceboxes in for DD in one pocket and $$,camera etc in the other without the camera freezing. This one was $9.99.

Last year in the parks I got a blue good sized one with Mickey on it for $16.99. It seemed available everywhere.

It's not a Disney one but we got ours at Dick's sporting goods. It is large but not too large and has different compartments for things. My husband and I both loved them on our last trip.

Hi Even though we are from Ontario. Good old Walmart. I just picked up one last week. It wasn't Disney but for onlu $3.?? great deal, navy and light blue, 3 or more conpartments. Hope you find one.

Just wanted to mention that Target has some clearance fanny packs in their luggage section. I saw them yesterday.

If you are looking for a large one with water bottle holders etc... that has a WDW theme, I bought one at MouseGears in Epcot. It can hold quite a bit & even has a clear plastic holder on the top you could use for your passes if you are brave or Fast Passes if you are cautious like me.

I bought my favorite fannypack in the Mexico Pavillion @ Epcot, it is a small, woven one. I have never seen another one like it outside of a Grateful Dead show!

our WalMart has quite a few---all less than $8.00.

Some are the bigger size with water bottle holders, and some are smaller/less complicated.

They were in the section with the purses and totebags.

I've seen them (and purchased one) at every Resort shop I've been in. I've also seen them in every shop in the parks that sells t-shirt-type of souvenirs. I don't think you'll have any trouble finding one. The trouble will be choosing which one you want to buy! They have so many cute designs!

We saw tons of them at WDW last week. They were really nice with tons of pockets. Didn;t check the cost since I had gotten my Dh his at the Disney outlet that traveled through town about a year ago and it was a big one with the CA adventures logo on it and a water bottle. These were black with colorful Disney writing across the front. You can defintiely find them once you get there if you can wait.
