Where the July 25, 2010 Wonder Double Dippers at?

so did they give you the 1st rotation then? We have an Olympus too and I got an extra battery off ebay your right about having an extra right away and then every night we just charge them up so all ready for the next day. So I started getting chargers and a few things piled up did online check in last night getting close now :scared1: :cool1: Tip: have 1$ bills for room service tip and porters at the port you can now sign your tip for room service but you will need $$ for porters...I have to to get my magnets off the fridge and put them in the pile...it does make finding your door so much easier....So does everyone have plans for Nassau on there own or thru DCL?

Best Buy did not have our camera battery. They said we would have to special order it from their parts website. Unfortunately with us leaving on Thursday, it won't arrive on time unless I pay a ton (probably more than the battery itself...lol) to ship it overnight. I should check on that price though...lol

I don't exactly know if we are getting the first rotation. It was noted, but since this is our first cruise...I'm not sure if requests are always granted.

As for Nassua...We have no plans right now. We tried to get the Atlantis Aquaventure but they only had 1 spot left. Do they hold spots for on board reservations for this like I heard they do for Palo? When we couldn't get that, I booked the Atlantis beach day...but I was told by some people that with 5 other ships docking that day, their beach would probably resemble our Jersey Shore beaches and I just didn't want to pay $80 a person for something I can get at home for free...know what I mean? I looked all over Atlantis's website for day passes (read on another thread that they offer them) but can not find them anywhere. I think we are just going to take a stroll into the shopping area and then head back to the boat to enjoy things when they are not as crowded. But I do have a few days still to check out other excursions....Any must dos in Nassau?

Oh well...have quite a bit to do today...but I'll be stopping back to the boards this evening. Have a great day everyone!

is that the only way Best Buy carries it at all there stores( special order) cause if not u could check a store here in fl and get it on line and pick it up once u come into town...just a thought...I don't believe they hold any spots for the excurisons but you can always check $80/person for the beach sounds high to me anyway I believe you could take a cab over and not pay for the beach use but then again with all the ships YES it will be busy Atlantis is the only must do for me thats what we did last time... 1st time shopping then back on board

DH checked with two different Radio Shack stores and neither had the battery. Sooooo....I went to amazon.com (I can always find anything I need on that site!) and purchased the battery and it will arrive tomorrow. It was only $17 and change to overnight it so that was fine for me.

We really wanted to do the Aquaventure...but apparently that is very popular and I didn't realize that people are actually booking their excursions up to 75 days in advance. (We didn't book our cruise until the end of May...LOL)

Kim...you can book Aquaventure directly through Atlantis and just take a cab over. It might be less expensive.

FOUR MORE DAYS!!!! :dance3:

I called Atlantis and got the day pass price. $110 for adults and $80 for kids. We would have to take a cab there and back. Still on the fence about doing it now though because Landen probably won't make the height requirement for many of the slides (even though he will be the one who will want to go on them) and Mairey will ride the slides as long as she is in a tube and won't go under the water. (I am hoping that this is the trip where she gets brave and gets over her fear of going under water!)

But I'm stressing right now...I got a new prescription a week ago for one of Mairey's asthma medications and since she was not out of pills yet, I seemed to have misplaced the bottle.....I am literally tearing room to room apart looking for it!!!!

just to let you know for those that are thinking of just going over and getting the day passes to Atlantis for the water park they are first come first served and it was posted about 5 other ships being in port that day so you may get there and none be available

Glad you gave that info about being first come first serve for the Atlantis day passes. Mark (Atlantis Rep) never mentioned anything like that to me. I would have been so upset if I got my kids all excited about going to that waterpark only to get there and be told there was nothing left:mad:

DH made a good point though...We are going to Aquatica and SeaWorld before the cruise. I think we'll save the $$$ I would have spent for the day at Atlantis and use it when we get off the boat and do a day or 2 in Disney World :)

that sounds like a great plan esp since your youngest couldn't do some of the slides and for all that $$$$ again something to put on your list for the next one :thumbsup2

Our first cruise 2 years ago,we stayed on the ship in Nassau, but since we have an extra day at sea this trip, I booked the Blackbeard Stingray Adventure in Nassau for all 5 of us. I thought it might be a nice way to see part of the island. The shopping and walking around didn't really enthuse me as I did that several years ago when I was single and went on a cruise with extended family.

My youngest dd (12) still wants me to book the CC Stingray adventure as a just a mommy and me excursion. The two older girls will be doing the Teen Wild Adventure excursion on CC with the biking, kayaking and snorkeling. My dh is not into snorkeling, so maybe I can get him to save the hammock or come take pictures!

I have started packing and plan to have most everything done by tomorrow night. I am trying to pack light and figure if I forget something, I will just have to make it work.

safe travels for all those traveling in tomorrow...FYI the weather guy today said we could have a tropical wave on us Friday thankfully it will have all ready gone by the Bahamas and hopefully we will have awesome weather the whole cruise pixiedust:

Hello everyone! I wasn't able to book Palo brunch online but hoping we'd get one on board. Issue is...we probably won't board the ship until 1pm. What are my chances of getting a ressie for Wednesday brunch?

I just printed out our boarding passes for tomorrow night's flight. I'm excited (Can't you tell??? It's 1:33 AM and I'm wide awake!!!:yay:

On the other hand....I looked at extended forecast for Florida. I know that thunderstorms are the norm for about 10 minutes out of each day whenever we travel to Florida so that doesn't worry me much. However, I just read that the temps will be in the mid 90s but on Saturday it will feel like it's 120 degrees outsdie......I told DH that it looks like Sea World will be set for Friday and Aquatica for Saturday. (However, we need to be careful in weather like this with DD who has asthma.....Crossing fingers that they are just exagerated reports.)

Thanks for the well wishes for our flight tomorrow night. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. This is the first time the kids will be flying and I haven't been on a plane in 9 years. (DH has to travel sometimes for training for work so he's been in the skies a few times throughout the years.)

Jeanette....I would check on brunch reservations as soon as you get onboard. I heard that they save a lot of reservations for onboard bookings.

Only 3 more days...and more importantly...only 2 more work days left :woohoo:

I second that - only 2 more days of work!!!!! We are all getting so excited! I packed Chelsea (7) yesterday, so tonight is myself and hubby! We fly out on Saturday afternoon and then before you know it, it will be Sunday morning and we will be on our way!!!

See everyone soon!

YES it has been crazy hot here no exageration the heat indexes have been in the upper 100's for days...whatever day you plan on Aquatica I suggest you get there at opening it can fill up in a few hrs and they won't let you in till later in the afternnon and then the rain could hit so early is always the best in FL in the summer see ya Sunday

Yes, safe travels for those that are heading out! We leave St. Louis at 6:45 am CST! I plan to be packed my the end of the day today!

As hot and humid as it has been here in the midwest, I figure it can't be any hotter or humid in Florida right now!

If I don't get back here to post, I hope your cruise is everything and more that you hoped it would be and may your days and nights be filled with Disney MAGIC :wizard: and WONDER!!!:goodvibes:

And if you see a family of 5 w/ a DH that has a brace on his lower leg, that will be us!! (DH has a pinched nerve and is nursing it along) Give a shout out! :wave2:
