We had an amazing cruise as well! I can't say enough positive things about our cruise experience....not to mention that we were selected as "FAMILY OF THE CRUISE!!!!"
A hostesss from Palo's selected us because she said she connected with us in a very positive way. (We had a wonderful conversation with her while we were waiting for our table. We spoke about the pronounciation of her name, where she was from, how long she worked for
DCL, what she liked, didn't like, etc...) Well the very next day she came to our room with a letter & photo copies of every menu from the restuarants on board. We were told that if we didn't feel like attending dinner in AP, T, or PC....we were welcome to order anything off their menus and have them delivered to our room via room service throughout our entire cruise! (We never took advantage of that...but there was more....) Everyday we received delicious desserts (small pastries, chocolate covered strawberries, etc...) on decorated plates...as well as plates of assorted cheese, crackers, and fruit. It was absolutely amazing!!!!
I am working on a trip report now. We just flew into NJ last night so I still have some unpacking to do, etc....
Oh and one more thing....my expensive underwater camera fried in the ocean at
Castaway Cay on Thursday. It was in the lock position so we have no idea of how water got into since we were not in deep water at all. Shutters was closed when we got back on the ship but I desperately needed a camera with video ability since Mairey was in the Friendship Rocks show....Shutters opened up just for me so I could purchase a camera : ) (
Best Buy in Orlando replaced our camera on Friday when we got off the ship...and I'm happy to report that almost 800 photos plus video were all perfectly fine!
