We just called the POFQ relocation team about our October stay and were given a few options to choose from, but now we don't know where to stay. Here are the options:
WL Woods View: $96
AKL Savannah: $106
YC/BC/Poly: $118

Initially when we booked POFQ, WL was our second choice so we thought that we'd definitely choose WL if it was an upgrade option. However, with the great rates for the other upgrade options, we don't know if we should still choose WL or take advatage of the rates and stay at one of the other resorts. We've stayed at AKL and the Poly and loved both. We've never stayed at WL and so that was one reason why it was our 2nd choice, but we did love the other resorts and going back would be great too. Our AKL trip was in December 2002 and we'll be going back for part of our honeymoon in June 2004, so we're thinking we should skip it on this trip, but then again it's a great rate and we loved the resort. We know SAB is a great pool, but we don't plan to swim much so that isn't too important for us on this trip. Ugh, it's so hard to make a decision! Anyone who has stayed at these resorts, please give us your opinion, especially WL, YC/BC since we've never stayed at those. Thanks everyone!

hi: you may want to try the yc/bc for your october trip. the food and wine festival will be going on in epcot. it's a nice short walk back to the resort from there. i think it depends on the ages of the people going as well. if you will have any younger ones, or if the mk is where you'll be for the bulk of the trip, the wl is great. the architecture of the akl is very similar to the wl. if you liked the akl, you should like the wl.

Hi...

The BC/YC club rates are terrific... but I think I would go with AKL Savanna view for 106.00 - you will enjoy the time on your balcony watching the animals in the uniquely themed beautiful resort.

I would suggest the YC. SAB can not be beat. This also a beautiful hotel with an excellent staff. It is also close to 2 parks. Have a great vacation with whatever you decide.

I'd go for Y&B or even the Poly!!

You just are not likely to beat that rate any time soon. My stay at the Poly coming up for just one night with an AP rate is $222.00 so you can see what a great deal that is. If you haven't tried Y&B, I highly recommend it as it's a big favorite! Even if you won't use the pool as much, the location as well as other ammenities just cannot be beat.

Let us know what you finally decide and good luck!;)

Thanks to everyone who has replied so far. Wdwnut, the ages of our group are pretty varied for this trip: 56, 23, 23, and 5. I'm guessing that my mom will want to spend time at the Food and Wine festival, so being near Epcot would be a plus, but the 5 year old will probably want to be at MK most of the time, so maybe we should stay near there. Hmm, decisions. Just when we thought we had everything figured out, with rates that great it's hard to just pick a place. Thanks and keep the ideas coming!

Definitely go yacht or beach club. I have a five year old and there's a lot to do over there with the boardwalk, SAB etc. The advantage with MK resorts is best if you are on the monorail - which WL is not. Opinions differ, but we had terrible transportation problems when we stayed at WL.

Whatever you decide, have fun!

It seems like YC/BC or Poly would be the best choices. Is there a difference between YC and BC? Would one be better to stay at than the other for our group? We've never stayed at either so either way it would be a new resort for us. Also, if we choose the Poly, are there still lots of renovations going on there? Will they be finished by October? We'd rather not stay there if there will be a lot of construction. Thanks for all the ideas so far, any others would be apprciated too!

I would say YC/BC.

Great pool for the 5 yr old.

Close to the Boardwalk and Epcot.

Can't you also take the boat to MGM?

Close to mini golf which everyone in your party may enjoy.

You can still take a fireworks cruise just like over near MK but for Illuminations.

Plus, couldn't you just take the monorail over to the MK if you have UPH tickets?

We love the WL and AKL but you just can't do better for convenience than the YC/BC.

I think it is a nice fit for all ages in your party.
